Bed and breakfast to spoil yourself

Beautiful house, well maintained gardens, gorgeously appointed rooms. We were downstairs, in a room with 4 poster bed, and small area for dressing, with wardrobe chaise longue and mirror, and a large ensuite. Very comfortable. David pointed out the lounge rooms, dining room and the pool. A range of cereals, fruit, bread for toast, coffee pod machine, fresh juice, fresh milk and even bacon and EGGS! (it's help yourself and self cooking) we ate out on the deck enjoying the magnificent view. The serenity! The hosts were friendly and welcoming.
We were sorry that we were only staying 1 night. Forster only 20mins away. Will come back another time.

Immaculate, comfortable and welcoming

This gorgeous B&B is easily accessible off the main road while being on a large block surrounded by wildlife.
Easy parking, the most comfortable beds and pillows - like clouds - spacious bathrooms with rainfall showers and claw foot bathtubs that we were welcome to use! Netflix, WIFI, pool, endless outdoor spaces to curl up in the sun with a good book. This place had it all. Eco friendly with loads of solar panals and onsite dam for water usage. Breakfast was included and we made this ourselves allowing us as many eggs, bacon, toast and juice as we wanted! Our hosts were warm and kind and happy to have a chat or leave us alone to relax.
We will be back!

Boutique Barrington Coast stay

This is a boutique option for a stay on the Barrington Coast. Located about a 17-minute drive from Taree and a 17-minute drive from Forster, the B&B is in a beautiful period mansion on a leafy country property. We stayed in a spacious room with a super comfortable Queen bed on the ground floor with a separate private bathroom and toilet. The grounds are beautiful, and the mansion is comfortable with a communal kitchen, and several common areas and verandas. David and Maria are wonderful hosts, and the kitchen is stocked with breakfast provisions (milk, juice, fruit, cereals, bread, jams, bacon, eggs and bread) as well as nice biscuits to have with tea or coffee. This is highly recommended!!

Friendly developing bed and breakfast. Clean. Cook your own.

Friendly host and hostess. Comfortable bed and clean. We paid for the private bathroom, but it is small, has a wonky door and no hooks to hang towel etc. They have a pool, billiard table and a couple of decks of cards for activities and pleasant grounds, but is on a busy road, so some traffic noise is present. Good facilities to cook or barbeque your own food. Breakfast is eggs and bacon you cook yourself, cereal and bread. You clen up after yourself as well. We might stay again, particularly if we were carrying our own groceries.

Perfect stop 3-4 hours North of Sydney

We stayed a Sunday night in the Cedar room with our small labradude. Bed was comfy. Room was gorgeous. Wrap around veranda looks out over beautiful gardens. Communal breakfast area was well stocked and clean. Guests treat Palmyra like home. She’s a lovely, big old house. Pool, BBQ, communal lounge areas available for guests to use. Thanks to Maria and David for a great (if too short) stay.
