the question about amenities is irrelevant because I do not know anything about those amenities, perhaps a tv, or cable, the mini fridge or coffee, mild and sugar, do not know.

Hotel DeVere, Sydney
The location is within King's Cross area - good restaurants, shops and connections to the City and Coast
Hotel was mid range for the area but did not deliver. Cleanliness was an issue - the decor was dated, corridor carpets worn and not clean The room carpet may have been superficially cleaned but was dirty around and under the furniture. The water supply to the bathroom taps, shower and sink was inconsistent and very weak. The small kitchenette did not have any hot water. There were no utensils or crockery - so why have a kitchenette?
Curtains did not close fully - some of the track retainers were missing so the curtain would not be retained.
Noise from the street, especially in the morning with bin wagons, contractors vans and at the weekend in the evenings with cars racing around the street was very loud.
The adjacent room noise was clear as the walls were very thin with no acoustics - people having conversations could easily be heard throughout the evening and night.
I would suggest, if you want location this is ideal; if you want a break and/or rest then forget it

We really liked the location, very bohemian ,trendy and pleasant. Unknowingly I booked an interior room, not very good. Small and no outside light. We had stayed last year and had a much nicer room, so be aware when booking.

This is really just a place to sleep and go with nothing else extra. The breakfast buffet looks like it hasn't been reopened since COVID so don't rely on that, there is no room service and your room will have only a fridge and no microwave - plan to eat out for every meal, thankfully there's lots of place in a 5m walking distance.
Neither hair dryer in my room worked and it looked like the holder for the one attached to the wall had caught on fire at some point previously.
Actual sleeping was fine, shower was fine. Just very old with nothing additional but it's fine if you're out most of the time and only need to sleep there.

AC was really good and overall very clean. The beds were a bit tough and uncomfortable though. But that’s up to personal preference. Also a loud street with it being a Main Street. So be ready for sirens and some noise on Friday and Saturday nights. Overall a very good stay, would come back again
