Love it ❤️‍❤️‍

Lots of space. Close to outside activities (the kids had a great time on the scooter and skateboard) and not always on the Xbox or watching TV and YouTube and not so many toys. Spacious shower, comfy bed. Very helpful staff.

Do not stay here, better places in town.

This was always our go to motel when needing to stay in Traralgon, but it's now changed hands and it was so disappointing, cosy has gone up $25 and there is no longer continental breakfast included and after travelling 7hours we just wanted a good rest and hot shower, got up in the morning to no hot water and after trying 20 minutes to get through to reception was told there was nothing they could do, did not offer a partial refund only sorry nothing we can do, this is not acceptable as a bed and shower are the two main things you pay for, they had no regard for our situation at all, I would like to say I would not stay here ever again and they should in no way be keeping the 9.1 rating from the past owners.

Reasonably priced , clean stopover

Travelling to Eden from Grampians , this motel is on Princes highway.
Cindy was very accommodating and allowed us to park our caravan on-site.
The room was very clean , bit noisy with truck traffic during the night.
We were in room 2, maybe the rooms at the back are a bit quiter
We walked accross the road and over a bridge to Big Al's pizza, very reasonable prices.
Comfortable bed, nice white towels.
City centre about a kilometre away

A cheap option

I've visited this place before and thought it was a good budget option, but when I returned last week I was sad to see it had gone downhill.
The noise from the main road is quite confronting and although the upstairs rooms (where I have always stayed before) have the noise-reducing blinds, this was not the case downstairs - ear plugs are highly recommended.
A crowd of young people appeared to have hired one of the rooms for a gathering/party and were playing loud rap music on the balcony (not really acceptable on a Wednesday evening I didn't think). I asked the lady at reception if I could move to a quieter room but she just shrugged and said there was nothing she could do. Again I was glad to have my ear-plugs.

Outstanding Value

Recently stayed at Connell's for 3 nights. Room was spotlessly clean, we were provided with daily continental breakfast, and felt well looked after during our stay with fresh towels each day. For the price, it was incredible value for money. Block out shutters did a great job at keeping out light and noise. Especially loved the comfy recliner chair that I sat in a lot to watch TV and work on my laptop. Thank you to the team at Connell's.
