100% peaceful
This is a lovely place to stay. The owners are very welcoming, the views are spectacular, and the only noise is the sound of the birds. It's a little hard to find the first time you go there, but is well worth the effort.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER EXPERIENCED. LONG STORY BUT WORTH A READ.
My partner booked this property so he could have a beautiful setting to propose to me. It was supposed to be a magical evening.
Whilst the location was amazing and the cabin was gorgeous unfortunately at approximately midnight the power to the entire cabin went out. We were in pitch blackness, there was no aircon and the fans were not working so it be became very hot and very stuffy, we called the phpne numbers on the sheet left at the property however no one answered, I called approximately 6 times, no answer and no return call. So I sent a txt, no response.
Given the fact that the food in the fridge would have gone bad, the fans erent working it became bery uncomfortable to be there, so unfortunately, given that no one responded to us we felt like no one was coming to help (a fair assumption in my opinion) and made the decision to leave and drive all the way home.
I contacted the management of the property the following monday as no one was answering on the sunday either and advised of the situation, we asked for a partial refund given we paid hundreds for just one night and couldn't even finish our stay.
They replied advising that once they were made aware of the situation they made steps to rectify the power being restored by 6am and whilst they did offer a complementary night I advised that wasn't suitable as we would beed to spend hundreds more on a other night just to get the free complementary night and we aren't in a position to be able to do that for quite some time.
Then they proceeded to ignore my further emails for approximately 4 weeks until one day I finally got a response advising my request for a partial refund was declined. Now they're refusing to even acknowledge my communication.
We cannot believe that they would be so incredibly unprofessional in a situation like this.
They messed up by not answering out initial phone calls for help, we had no idea they were coming to help because they never advised if such and then refusing to answer and ignoring our emails AND theyre refusing to appropriately compensate us for the issues we faced.
Don't ever stay at this property because if something goes wrong they won't help you! Worst customer service I have ever encountered in my entire life. And to make it worse we still haven't been apologized to for not being able to finish our stay.

In response. As management of an accommodation venue, we have little recourse in dealing with a review such as this. You have stated many untruths and exaggerated or omitted details. In fact you informed us in the middle of the night that there was a power outage, the power was restored before 6:00 am. You were offered a complimentary stay ‘for the issues you faced’ which you declined.

Magnificent views
We stayed at ocean view cottage just for one night on 4th October. The hosts Tony and Penny were most accommodating. Please is very beautiful located on a secluded area, peaceful. Just perfect getaway from busy Sydney. Thank you.

Memorable mountain stay
Our group of 4 guys on NSW road trip had fantastic back-to-nature overnight stay in clean cosy high hilltop cottage well equipped with all mod cons. Helpful friendly host Penny & Toni gave us a side comfortable rustic shed for extra beds. We had fun with afternoon cheese and home-cooked dinner with complimentary bottle of local wine. Did sunrise hill walk for aerobic workout before devouring the provided continental breakfast of fresh fruits and pastries. Wished we could have stayed longer for a couple of more days. Thank you Penny & Toni.

Beautiful Cottage
Absolutely Loved this place ! We stayed in the Ocean View Cottage.
The setting is stunning.... high on the hilltop in the bush overlooking the Ocean! The decor was lovely & the cottage was very clean & fresh. Even a bottle of wine to enjoy. The gardens are beautiful too. Cute little breakfast supplied as well.
So close to the highway, but you feel so far away from everything. Valla Beach is close by & Bellingen close too.
The Owner could not have been nicer to deal with..... even invited us in to her house to show us the view.
The only regret I had was we didn't book for another full day, so I could sit out on the balcony with a book & soak up the peacefulness!
We will certainly be back & will bring other members of our family to stay in one of the other cottages.
