DISAPPOINTING, DIRTY AND DISGUSTING
The worst place we have ever stayed in. All it had going for it, was a great view.
Do not even consider this place if you have a disability there is NO disabled access available or any aids in place. PLUS, there is no mention that we can find, in the advertising suggesting it is not suitable for persons with a disability. My wife uses a mobile walker and found climbing a steep dirty staircase difficult, in my opinion the staircase quite possibly does not meet legal standards and should be inspected . Parking whilst free, is not guaranteed, every Tom, Dick and Harry uses it as we found out firsthand when we saw people coming out of the Greek Restaurant after their meal and jumping into their cars to leave. We went out for a while when we came back there was no where to park. Before arrival we paid extra for an upgrade to Room 1. "A room with a view" bla bla bla..........
Our room had dangerously long floor sweeping, PUTRID privacy curtains, dirty holland blinds and skirting boards. extremely uncomfortable seating. The bed was okay, the sheets were clean, there were ants on the bench tops and tables.
The hot water in the shower took a long time to come through, so a lot of water gets wasted. There is a great big crack in the window. The light fittings especially in the bathroom are collecting lots of dead bugs.
The cutlery supply was in sufficient, with only 1 tablespoon, no dessertspoons, and 1 teaspoon. We should have been supplied with at least two of each utensil.
The piece to resistance was the "Entry Parlour" at the top of the steep staircase, it was the SMOKING area, right outside our rooms door, "with dirty filthy old cans placed around the area for smokers, when we opened the door the smoke wafted in, Waking up early morning after a night sleep, I went outside to take in a breath of fresh air but was greeted with a breath of filthy cigarette smoke plus there was a waist high disused garden bed font chock a block full of stubbed out cigarettes butts which stunk like crazy and just to top it off the foul stench coming from the rubbish bin below reeked all day and night, especially of rotting seafood from the bins. It was disgusting. The health department needs to take a good look at this place.
We give NO stars for this place.(I was obliged to give 1 star to review). This place needs a good going over with a fine-tooth comb.
All for $375 for two nights

Give it a miss
Seriously reconsider a stay at this motel or if you must, book through any of the travel apps as you will get it at a fraction of the price the motel it self will charge. Now the details, it’s more like an old halfway house with tenants transitioning from prison or rehab accommodation through department of housing. A very friendly chap greeted me when I scaled the exterior stair case with my luggage to offer me advice on where I could get free food from locally if I was staying there “through houso”. These were his words not mine. As I came & went he was holding court & offering the same advice to guests as they also arrived. This guy was a tenant who was housed at the motel by Department of Housing as were his friends who were all hanging out smoking on the communal landing. The view from my room was honestly the only saving grace, there was loud music coming from somewhere, burnouts in the street below & I could hear the kegs from the neighbouring pub being rolled around right through the night & early next morning. Bed linen was clean & room was mediocre. The stair case, parking issues, cleaning & long term tenants were an issue for me & I’m far from a snob or precious.

Tackiest boutique hotel I have been in.
Sheets, towels and room was clean and bed was comfortable.
There is no rug. No face cloths or cakes of soap to wash hands.
Microwave and kettle was on top of fridge (Sonic the Hedgehog stickers on door). Large window view was beautiful except for the rusty corrugated iron roof of next door.

Do not stay here
Dirty walls everywhere. Dry blood on our bathroom wall. Filthy carpet. The small glass table in the room had some type of mould growing underneath it just above a very impressive layer of dust. The guest nextdoor unloaded on somebody with a barrage of expletives and it was actually quite scary.
On the positive side the towels and sheets were clean.

This is the worst place to stay. It’s dirty and definitely not cleaned between guests stays.
If you want to catch a disease or get sick then stay here.......... Gross
