Convenient clean comfortable bed well equipped
We stayed here two nights, was missing large plates but they rectified that and more.
Very kind helpful staff advised us where to find kangaroos, helped with drier, guest washing machine and clothes line, free dryer, even had someone else's Netflix password so watched a movie!!

No electricity-no care
We had a two night booking, second day electricity failed. Electricians came for the afternoon ripped out our headboards and said problems could not be fixed. The wiring was old and needed to be required. One power point worked so we were given an extension cord to power our devices. No compensation given . No care.

As soon as the issue was identified, licensed electricians were arranged and attended the room the same day. They worked as quickly and respectfully as possible to investigate the fault and ensure safety, however due to the age of the wiring, a permanent repair could not be completed immediately. At all times, guest safety was our priority.
We acknowledge that this situation was frustrating, and we did offer a $100 credit as a gesture of goodwill in recognition of the inconvenience experienced. We are sorry if this was not reflected in your review or if it did not meet your expectations.
Please be assured that we do care deeply about our guests’ comfort and experience. Maintenance works of this nature are never ideal, and we appreciated your patience while our team and external trades worked to resolve the issue as best as possible at the time.
We thank you again for your feedback, as it assists us in continuing to improve our facilities and guest experience.

Good clean accommodation
Good clean accommodation in a quiet secluded location at end of a cut-de-sac but close enough to town with shops, cafes, etc within a short walk.

Underwhelming experience at the Aston Motel.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a family of kangaroos which was a great start to our stay!
Unfortunately, that's where the fun ended......The room appeared 'clean' at first but this was not the case by the end of the night. We sat in the beds and within 30 minutes, myself and the two other guests were itching like crazy. It must be the linen mattresses but we paid the price by waking up the following morning with rashes all over our faces....As for the bathrooms, we were met by a tribe of ants - a real community feeling. Thankfully, we used almost the full bottle of bug killer to get rid of the majority but they kept appearing - in numbers! Another strange aspect of the room was the door....There was a large gap between the door and the wall frame itself, so in the morning, there was A LOT of light coming through to the room. This also meant it was easier for the ants to make a return. We were more than ready to leave the next morning, considering the pool was complete out of use and FULL of dirt. I get it's the off season but this should have been advertised prior to arrival. I'm sure the pool is nice in the Summer but we didn't get to experience the amenities. Don’t even start on the wifi - the best connection was in the car outside the room. Our phones kept disconnecting and to be honest, we were happy it was one night and done by the morning.

Very enjoyable
Brief stay at Yamba for Xmas to catch up with grandchildren at caravan park. Great location, very comfortable and lovely to have a little down time from kids. Very enjoyable and lovely hosts. Pool was clean with spar. Close to town for coffee and breakfast.
