Highly recommend this lovely female-owned spot!

A wonderful long-weekend stay in the heart of Antwerp’s historic center! Located near cozy, traditional bruine kroegen, this B&B exudes charm and authenticity. Maryline is a fantastic, welcoming host who has poured so much love into creating a peaceful, beautifully decorated space. It’s the ultimate calm retreat after a day in the city center. Breakfast is available on request. Highly recommend this lovely female-owned spot!

B&B without breakfast - too expensive

I booked this B&B in Antwerp, directly via the owner Maryline. The contacts with Maryline all happened via mail and SMS, and generally went well. Upon check-in on Saturday, she could not be available though provided good instructions on how to enter the building (secure code) and which rooms were reserved for us (3 rooms of 125€ each). The rooms were big, redecorated and fine (first view).
The next morning I contacted the owner to ask what time breakfast was served, however she informed me no breakfast is included / foreseen. Kind of strange for a B&B, no ? This has never been clearly communicated, and more importantly the price was then weigh too expensive.
Out of the 3 rooms, nobody could switch TV on. Also no WiFi code was available in the room, hence comfort was very basic.
Maryline apologized for this misunderstanding (via SMS) but never accepted to compensate us.

Great room

Clean, fresh, good smell, fabulous bed and easy check in and check out. It's in the heart of Antwerp and it feels like a little gem. But difficult to find, but that is what adds to the treasure feel. Just call the number and you'll have an easy entry.

Be Careful!

We stayed here twice in July. Great location and really good price. Both rooms were good, but the second room had a terrace and area to sit if the chairs were not broken. As I said the rooms were great and we knew the area well. The problem began at 11:30PM WITH BANGING on our door demanding that we open up, followed by more yelling in Dutch(?). Something about cigarettes. I remembered something on the terrace and brought it to the door and gave it to the women standing there.She smiled and left without so much as a sorry or anything. In hindsight I should never have opened up the door. A good stay except for that incident.

Beautifull but not again

The smell in the building is nice,but after 5 minutes to much around, it is the laundry downstairs,i could taste it, also the bedscheets were overwhelmed with the scent. I need to put my own brought towel on the pillow. We had the first room after the kitchinette. The bed was at one side lower, my boyfriend slept not okay because his muscles had to work to not role out of the bed. The street is very laudy. The room looks amazing. The towels and bedsheets are clean. The toilet and badthub/shower are clean. The showerheads chrome /
Plastic coating is broken, i cut my thumb very deep when i grabbed it out of the wallholder. And breakfast is not included!!unfortunatly we found out the morningafter. you have to pay €30 pp for breakfast. You can leave your suitcase in the kitchen if you already have to check out. Check out is before 11.30.
Parking is not included, find a spot or parkinggarage at 5 minutes walk.
