A new Brugge asset

Complete renovation results in a new asset for Brugge. In the middle of all shopping areas with the required luxe and care. Very good breakfast and personal service with luxury touch. Parking very close by.

leuk plekje / nice cosy spot

Nearby the docks and the river ‘Schelde’, you find this nice B&B near ‘het zand’ (close to the tunnel for pedestrians).
Friendly service, prices reasonable.
Want to get away from the ‘Meir’ and ‘Groenplaats’, Sablon is a good alternative

A lovely stay, excellent location

We had a great stay at Sablon B&B.
Let's start with location. Couldn't be better, down a quiet back street but just minutes walk to the main squares. Just around the corner is a vibrant street (Hoogstraat) full of cafes, restaurants and bars. And free parking is just 10 minutes walk away .
Second, the owner Gea is delightful. Her and her husband greeted us like old friends and made sure we were settled in and then well acquainted with the area. They will do anything to help out.
Third, our room had a huge and very comfy double bed (two singles together) and a large bathroom across the hallway. They provide bathrobes and there are curtains across the landing anyway for further guest privacy. It's not perfect but it works.
Fourth, the breakfast. Wonderful and very varied. Pastries, breads, yoghurt, home made jams, cheeses, meats, fresh juice, great coffee. I could go on.
We had a lovely stay and would certainly visit again.

A lovely bed and breakfast

We stayed here for just one night. Gea was a wonderful host and the b&b was excellent. A great location, very homely and a superb breakfast. My only regret being I was running the Antwerp marathon so couldn’t eat much of it. Gea arranged breakfast far earlier than normal for myself and the other runner staying there which was most appreciated. Gea was also kind enough to take delivery of a parcel for my husband and kept it safe until we arrived and she let my husband leave his bike in the b&b. A great experience all round.

Fabulous hospitality

Comfortable bed and a good nights sleep overall. The location just a few minutes walk to the Grote Markt is perfect, and it's also just quiet enough to sleep at night, being on a little street without too many passing noisy folk. The bathroom is across a little hall, stairs up to the room are quite narrow, but fine unless you have a mobility issue. The lady who runs the business will do anything for you, and her Mum too. I can imagine that the property has a lot of return business for this reason, and we would certainly stay again. The breakfast is exactly as you see in the photos. Absolutely fantastic!
It can be a bit noisy when everyone is up and about in the morning as all the floors are wooden or tiled. You need a quiet neighbour in the next room!
The entrance to the art deco tunnel under the river is on the square right next to the hotel. Pop and have a walk - fascinating.
