tasty breakfast in a cozy garden

Our bike tour with 4 couples in Beernem started very nicely with a nice breakfast in the cozy garden of this hotel. A nice surprise.

Enjoyable overnight stays

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, 1 night either end of a touring holiday in Germany. It was an ideal stopover hotel for us as close to the motorway and unlike the hotels we used in Germany the price included parking and breakfast. We had the small room on our first stay and it is small but we knew this so packed what we needed in an overnight bag and left our cases in the car. Though the room was small the bed was very comfortable and with the exception of the bathroom door everything worked as intended. Breakfast was plentiful and very enjoyable. On our return stay we were upgraded to a larger room. Everything worked as intended and due to the heatwave a fan was provided for the room. We needed to leave before breakfast started and was offered a packed breakfast to take with us. The couple running the hotel are very friendly and suggested places to visit in the Netherlands when we visit our daughter in Germany on a future trip. There is a bar and terrace but these were not open when we stayed. If you intend to stay leave bags in the car until you have checked in as there is an external stairway that leads to the room area and is easier that taking bags through the reception area of the hotel.

We have to work on it

As soon as we arrived it seemed to be in a horror movie, inside even more... Black furniture, wall hanging deer, conclave of mites (fake fur blankets) and carpets of fake cow everywhere dust everywhere. If you suffer from allergy I would not recommend it. An excessive price for the type of structure. Breakfast without infamy and without glory.

10 out of 10 for Ten Lande

On a 10 night motorcycle trip through France, Belgium, Holland, Germany & Poland, with friends. Ten Lande was our first and last hotel on this trip. Minor negative - no restaurant on site but the hosts, Bonie & Maya were more than helpful in making a reservation at a nearby restaurant. Their hotel is fabulous. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped. No makings in the room however this is more than compensated by a well stocked guest "refreshment" area on one of the landings. Bonie & Maya are the perfect hosts, we were made to feel very welcome, were shown to our rooms where the features were explained. Home from home.
