Clean, modern rooms with a wonderful restaurant. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful.

Not worth repeating
Our stay was not a pleasant experience at all. The reception was cool and clearly had to be handled as soon as possible. During the rest of our stay (3 nights) we did not see anyone at the reception.
The hotel's rooms are located next to an event space and the sound insulation between the two is below standard.
During our stay there was noise every night until well after midnight due to events in the room next to the rooms. No effort was made to keep the door between the rooms and the banquet hall closed either.
Consequently, nothing remained of the peace promoted on the website.
We stayed on the ground floor and were probably the only guests in the hotel. So we could have been offered a room on the first floor without any problem where it would probably have been a bit quieter. Had we been informed of the events next to the rooms when booking we would have kindly thanked for staying at the hotel.
Breakfast was served in the event room which lay unkempt after the nightly festivities.
Breakfast is put on your table and then you are left to your own devices. You cannot blame the managers for not being consistent in treating the guests impersonally.
This place is not recommended for people who appreciate the peace and cordiality of the Ardennes.

Feel the love!
It is not often that I get the privilege of writing the first review on trip advisor. Found this small owner run hotel by chance when looking for hotel and restaurant on the last leg of our 5 week touring holiday across Europe. I am guessing that the restaurant has been here for a couple of years and then they have added the hotel part which seams to consist of 7 rooms on 2 floors. Lots of parking available. There is an elevator to the 2nd floor. Modern rooms, beautifully appointed, the owners have spent the money on good quality furnishings which is what is needed to make things last the test of time and still look good. Fridge, safe, coffee making, air con in the room, lots of storage. Our room, room 5, had a king size bed, slightly on the firm side, with a balcony overlooking the lovely, peaceful countryside. Separate toilet to the bathroom which had a decent shower. We only stayed one night and had half board which included a meal in their lovely restaurant. You must book a table (I think even if you are half board). We were here on a Friday night and it was extremely busy. The food in the restaurant was amazing, beautifully presented, fresh ingredients, and back to old fashioned, more creative french cooking which seams to have become scare these days. The staff were a little on the scary side and could do with taking it down a notch as it sort of did not feel that welcoming. We met the chef and owner in the morning who was cooking breakfast and welcoming the guests as they came to the dining room and he was such a lovely down to earth guy, that would have been a nicer reflection in the evening staff, they were very professional but it came across a little “stand offish”. The breakfast was equally wonderful with lots of different choice, hot and cold dishes, with smoked salmon, jams etc made in house. I always tell my nieces and friends that when they cook a meal, they must always use the best ingredients they can buy but the difference in how it tastes is when you put love into the food you are cooking. You can tell the chef is enthusiastic and cares and you can definitely taste the love in his food. I wish him every success for the future.

très bonne chambre avec un petit frigo et beaucoup de prises électriques. Je me suis régalé au petit déjeuner ca vaut bien les 20E. il est dommage que personne ne soit à l'accueil en permanence

Heel mooie en moderne accommodatie in een prachtige streek! Heel vriendelijk onthaal en super eten, zowel 's avonds als 's morgens! Een aanrader!
