A cocoon in the middle of nature...

It has almost become a tradition... Every year we spend a night in love in this idyllic place. After La Sarcelle, Le Martin-Pêcheur and Milan Royal, here we are at La Sécassine, a small cocoon on the waterfront. Everything is beautifully thought out and arranged. We like to sit on the pontoon for an aperitif or by the fireplace to grill some marshmallows (offered by the house). This time it is a ragondin that we observe passing through the water. And in the morning, it is a Geese who knocks on the window with her beak during our breakfast delivered in a beautiful basket. In short, if you like to spend suspended moments, away from the daily tumult, head (smoothly) to the Marsh Nests.

a return to the essentials in a very quiet place.

Discovery of this very beautiful place for one night. Accommodation in the 'kingfisher' nest where it is truly a return to the essentials (no wi-fi, no TV but especially a connection with nature), a place where one can rest, where one can talk in a calm atmosphere interrupted by the singing of birds. The gourmet basket and its cheese and charcuterie platter is great, and what can be said about its breakfast the next morning. One no longer wants to go out. In short, for those who are looking for a quiet place in the heart of nature that allows one to forget the daily stress for a while.

"Kingfisher," I highly recommend it

Very nice experience
Very pleasant stay, generous platter of cold cuts and cheeses. The meal box and breakfast option is very well done with local products. Ideal place to recharge.

A real jewel of nature

We had an incredible moment suspended in this haven of peace. We disconnect completely in this beautiful nature. What a dream to fall asleep looking at the stars and make beautiful walks to get some fresh air. We'll be back!
