A Fairytale Stay with Exceptional Hospitality
This is truly a hidden gem and felt like stepping into a romantic fairytale. The rooms are exquisitely decorated with beautiful period details that transport you back in time, while still offering all the comfort and elegance you could wish for. Everything was immaculate and clearly cared for with great attention to detail.
The breakfast was simply outstanding—luxurious, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. It was the perfect!
The hosts and staff were incredibly warm, and attentive♥️

An unforgettable brunch!
We had an unforgettable family brunch on Sunday morning! Everything was taken care of down to the last detail: excluding crockery and cutlery, the delicious coffee and the excellent range of teas, the delicious rich breakfast buffet, the friendly service! We'll be back for sure!

Amazing Hotel
What a fantastic building, renovated to a very high standard by the owner and a lovely place to stay.
I stayed here as it was close to the start of a bike race I was competing in, the owner kindly found a room for me to build and store my bike and also for others who were also staying for the race.
The room was great and very comfortable and the breakfast superb with everything you could want.
I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Very authentic, beautifully restored setting
Beautiful rooms in a beautifully restored villa. You imagine yourself in an early 20th century villa of rich people (color, decor, chandelier, ...) with the comfort of the 20th century.
Luxurious bathroom with powerful, nice hot water in a royal bathtub. Lovely bed linen...in short, wonderful.
Breakfast is served in a beautiful room and is super fresh and differentiated.
The Sunday high afternoon tea is also highly recommended.

Needs improvements before I would return.
It was hard to make this review as I can see this place has so much potential. It was the one hotel I was looking forward to the most as part of a tour of hotels for my 50th birthday. The photos and site suggest a luxury villa but it was more like fawly towers at times.
Firstly the location is quite odd just off some house where many of the pics make it look like it's in a park. We met the host who was very friendly and was going away on holiday with his family. The area where you pay was not visual for guests and needed a good clean. The rooms were OK and the bathrooms looked very nice but there was several faulty items from a window that would not close to loose parts on the sink and the list continued. On the first night we went out for a meal and returned to find all the tables were covered in towels and cloths to dry. It was very odd and made the place look scruffy. Just purchase some driers and put them in the kitchen out of site. The owner was going away with his family on my first night and I was woken up in the early hours to car boot slamming, doors banging and chatter I was so annoyed by the disturbance and lack of respect to their paying guests that I wanted to go down and complain. This went on for over an hour and very inconsiderate. The next day we went down for breakfast and it felt very disorganised but the staff seemed friendly. We went to explore the town and then returned as it was very hot. We went to the area of the front of the building and found many of the seats faulty, a women came and knocked on the door and we opened it. She was a friend of the owner and was just checking that things were OK however we could not close the door as the lock was clearly broken and was missing some parts and obviously had been for a while. This does not make you feel very safe. We did explain to the women a list of problems and faults we found and she suggested we let the owner know as he would hear it better from guests. We also found many sofas very uncomfortable and were clearly very old some even had to be propped up as their legs were broken with foam as you can see in one of the photos and just made the place look and feel cheap. This stopped feeling like a luxury break and more a place that clearly needed spending money on it. The next day we went for breakfast it was much more organised and the spread offered was much bigger than the previous day and was all very tasty. I do think this place as a lot of potential but it feels like a place that needs some money being spent on fixing furniture and furnishings. Its clear a lot was Probally spent in restoring the building but it feels like the money ran out at sometime. If I'm honest I am really confused by all the great reviews as I feel people are just overlooking the issues but whilst I think it's important to be constructive it's also important to be honest so other guests can make an informed decision on some of the realities.
