Warm welcome, nice room (208) with everything needed (rain shower, king size bed, large bathroom), coffee and tea free as well as free water in the fridge, very nice breakfast with table service. 2 floors accessible by spiral staircase. Very close to the big market.

Disappointing.

We planned with two couples a weekend Lier. We saw that this hotel introduces itself as a three-star hotel, is located in the city centre and says on its homepage: "enjoy a luxurious experience".
We contacted by phone regarding cancellation, as we are not in perfect health. We were kindly helped and received by email confirmation from the hotel of our reservation of two rooms, with cancellation possibility.
When we arrived on Saturday afternoon we were in front of a closed door.
It was dark inside and there was a kind of kitchen that was completely closed, uninviting. There was a note on the door with a phone number to call. A friendly person immediately came to open the door and we could enter. Our overall impression did not improve: the green wall in the photos were actually plastic leaves.
The man looked questionable. I'm not good on my feet and there was no elevator, just a not very comfortable spiral staircase to the floors. Not noticed on the website.
When we showed our reservation email he was surprised: normally you have to pay an advance of 100 euros and apparently his colleague had not asked. So there was no reservation and no rooms were available. He apologized and wanted to help us find another hotel. We finally found that ourselves, to our relief, because Guzy was not really what we had in mind for a weekend getaway and a "luxurious experience", despite the fact that the man was very friendly.
For us this was disappointing, and not what we are used to for a hotel that gets an 8.5 on Booking.

Beautiful cozy place!!!

An overnight stay in Lier in combination with a gastronomic dinner. Warm welcome and clean and fresh room. Easy accessibility with electronic maps when returning home late after getting out. Overwhelmed by extensive Turkish breakfast.
Definitely recommended for those who wish to spend the night in the region.

Nice, tiny place

Nice, small hotel near the town center, on the main shopping street of Lier. Rooms and public spaces are clean. There is a small Turkish cafe and a shop in the hotel.
The breakfast is great. Staff ia polite and frendly.
Rooms and bathroom are big enough.

Een aan te raden locatie.
Het is een zaak Dat in aangroei is .
Zeker het.proberen waard.
De gastvrijheid heeft alles overtroffen ,ook de wat ongemakkelijk trap naar de kamers.
