The pillows were very hard and lumpy so very difficult sleep on.
The bath towels were very thin and skimpy.
The ‘Hotel’ had no bar or restaurant , so it was actually bed and breakfast.

The hotel is well located
It is a characterful building which has been very nicely renovated; the rooms are nicely decorated, but lack that little extra to give it the label "excellent".
The reception the first day was just sister and all; the younger lady was polite but friendly. The older lady, on the other hand, was very friendly.
The breakfast was fine, especially since there were only two couples in the hotel.

Not bad, but very average
Certainly there is the ease of parking and the exterior charm of the building.
Inside, we discover the effects of a very modernist renovation which, unfortunately - in the commons as in the rooms - has nothing to do with the original spirit, which has the effect of spoiling the charm of the period setting.
The breakfast does not deserve the compliments it receives in other reviews: everything is dry, the fruit salad comes from a box, the juices, a bottle, the breads are very average. There's no service. It's up to you to make your drink by machine...
