Loved my stay at the Menin Gate Lodge

I stayed here for 3 nights on a work trip. Francis was friendly and flexible in meeting me when I arrived. The room was lovely for just me, the bed was super comfy and the shower large and modern. The bathroom was part of the room and just behind a curtain. Clearly this was great for just me but for a couple it might be a bit too “cosy” without much privacy.
There was a big window I could open for fresh air and the location was the best. I don’t eat meat but was given a good breakfast of cheese, rolls, fruit and juice. The room was really clean. The only slight downsides I can think of was that the room might be a touch small for a couple, the floorboards were creaky and the room was accessed by a spiral staircase, so might not be the best for those with poor mobility. Thanks to Francis and the team.

Fantastic B&B with everything you need for a pleasant stay

Very comfortable rooms and very friendly owner who welcomes you at arrival. Also the breakfast is very good! The beds are fantastic, luxury bathroom so I would recommend the B&B to everybody who wants to discover Ieper. The only disadvantage for me was the television, as a guest you need your own telenet account to scan a qr code on the television and I don't have a telenet account, for people coming from abroad also not very handy but I am sure the owner will solve this problem for the guests. Spacious rooms in a prime location

came with a number of colleagues, very well able to meet with the hotel owner. This is a prime location in the center and yet quiet because the rooms are not on the street side. The rooms are spacious and equipped with every comfort. A nice breakfast is served in the morning. I will definitely be back here. And if possible preferably in room number 1 because this is so pleasant and beautiful, just like Ypres.....

What a winner for a nice price.

I came there with a number of colleagues, being able to meet very well with the hotel owner. This is a prime location in the center and yet quiet because the rooms are not on the street side. The rooms are spacious and equipped with every comfort. A nice breakfast is served in the morning. I will definitely be back here. And if possible preferably in room number 1 because this is so pleasant and beautiful, just like Ypres.....

Comfortable rooms close to the Grand Place d'Ypres.

Located in the heart of Ypres (also known as the Cat City) , a three-minute walk from the Grand Square or the famous Menin Gate , Menin Gate Lodge offers 7 freshly redecorated and very comfortably furnished and equipped rooms. Bedding is of TOP quality and in the morning a hearty breakfast is offered in the room at 7 am. We had chosen room 2 with terrace on the first floor (no elevator). I highly recommend this property.
