Excellent stay in Mostar

One of the best hostels I've stayed at so far! The owner was so kind and accommodating, the bedroom and bathroom were extremely clean, and the location is so close to many things you would want to visit as well as the bus station.Fast internet is a big plus.

Disappointing experience and unpleasant boss.

We stayed at Hostel Dino in a group of 8 people, and frankly, I would not recommend. As soon as we arrived, the woman who ran the Hostel was unpleasant and disrespectful. We had asked to be together in an 8-seater dormitory, but she decided to divide us, claiming that other people should stay in the dormitory. Spoiler alert: no one ever came! It was totally unnecessary and frustrating. She had no respect for our choices and seemed to care nothing about our comfort.
The room? Not memorable. Not dirty, not clean, just... mediocre. The sheets were actually towels (yes, towels), and the mattresses were uncomfortable. Not the most relaxing experience, to say the least.
The only positive point: his son offers to take you to the three main tourist sites. Convenient if you don't have a car, but frankly, 40€ per person to just sit in a car, that's a bit of an exaggeration.
The location is correct, 5-10 minutes walk from the historic center, but it does not compensate for the bad service and unpleasant atmosphere.

Great hostel

The hostel is in a very good location for Mostar. We were never more than a 10 minute walk away from anything. The owner was great she was very accommodating and offered us free tea and coffee when we arrived. The beds were also very comfy and the room was very clean.

Quiet, comfortable, very friendly host

I had a great time in Mostar and a big part of that was because of Hostel Dino. The owner, Tania, is magnificent. She's always professional and will help with anything you ask, genuinely cares about her guests and also really easy to talk with. I think we needed more time to continue our conversations! My private room was cosy and peaceful, and there was never much of a queue for the shared bathroom. It's located a few minutes away from the old town and bridge, along a scenic pedestrian street where you will pass several nice mosques and mountain views. I will certainly return here one day!

Horrible experience

The hostel is more like a strict hotel than a travelers meeting point. Its clean, but the owners are rude and horrible. The owner threthened to make us pay an extra night when we missed chekout by literally 2 minutes. Also no common area or atmosfere, you should avoid it.
