Unforgetable holiday

It 's the 5 th year I' m spending my vacation at Flamingo Grand, and yet every time the stuff nicely surprise me. What more should I sau? That the food is very good, the events and games they organise are funny. The room was confortabile and with a beautiful view and all services are above all expectations. În dacă it' s a must to spend here at least one holiday!

Cockroaches in a 5-star hotel

We are extremely disappointed with our stay at Flamingo Grand Hotel & Spa. Despite visiting Albena regularly, I am deeply saddened to see that the hygiene quality in the resorts' hotels is declining year after year. In previous years, I have even found leftover feminine hygiene products upon check-in. I have tried different hotels here - even at the other 5-star property, Maritim Paradise Blue, I barely restrained myself from complaining about mold and mildew in the bathroom. However, I had never seen cockroaches until now.
For a certified 5-star hotel charging premium prices, having cockroaches in the bathroom of our room and in the hotel corridor is absolutely unacceptable.
I requested a refund for the nights starting from the day I saw it in the bathroom. The management reacted immediately to the complaint, so we were moved to another room. However, the management's approach to compensation was insulting. We declined their initial offers for a free dinner and SPA and following that, they sent an email offering a "compensation" of a 10% discount for the 2027 season! It is absurd for a 5-star hotel to condition a remedy for their current failure on us spending more money with them in the future.

Unfortunately disappointed

The hotel is clean, the room was very good, as were the beds. The staff often seems unfriendly and always annoyed. The breakfast and also the dinner were definitely not worth 5 stars.... The lobby looks good - the rest could be modernized.
At the beach, you are only allowed to use the loungers from the 3rd row onwards. Row - also only 2 loungers and 1 umbrella per room. Otherwise, every lounger costs €7 and an umbrella €5
We would not choose this hotel again.

Nice family hotel if you like to passively smoke 10-12 sigg every day

I spent a week with my partner and son in 1 year. An ok+ experience. It was small things that drag down the assessment. 1. cleaning: it hung threads of dust among other things behind the door and in otherwise corners and edges, carried the mark of “rapid washing”. The shower was not cleaned properly, it hung hair after previous guests on the hose in the shower among other things. 2. rental of pooltowels: I understand that the hotel should have paid, but €3 per day felt a bit dirty. I would have had a higher tolerance for paying €5 as a one-time sum with the option to deliver towels in exchange for new ones as most hotels practice. We chose rather to buy cheap towels that are going to be thrown away, bad for the environment. 3. noise: there was arranged children's discounts among other things in the evening, which is superb! However; music and microphone are perceived as unnecessarily loud. We stayed on the other side of the hotel and it sounded like we had them on our balcony. With a small child who was going to sleep and adults who wanted to relax, this was embarrassing. 4. Smoking!!!: it was allowed to smoke on the balcony associated rooms, this was absolutely awful. We end up in the middle of big smokers on both sides. I have smoked 10 to 12 cigarettes a day and I do not smoke! This was felt very ugly at a family hotel with young children. All clothes hanging out smell smoke, beach towels and everything stinks.

Flamingo Grand hotel Albena

The location of the hotel was good, the food was ok. But no free drinks for dinner( . And the staff was very rude and impolite. Especially the maître d'hôtel in the restaurant. Though the cleaning of rooms was perfect.
