Location A very nice option for those who like to be on the move! Hotel «Hotel Mura» is located in Bansko. This hotel is located in the center of the city. Before going to bed, you can walk around the main landmarks of the city. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel — Bansko Ski Resort and Bansko-Banderitsa Meadow Ski Lift.At the hotel You can stop by the bar. You can stop by the restaurant. The hotel cafe is a nice place to have a snack. Free Wi-Fi is available on the territory. Ask for more information when checking in. Specially for tourists who travel by car, there’s a free parking zone. If you travel by car, you can park in a parking zone. The beauty and wellness services: a massage room, a sauna, a steam bath and a spa center. For winter sports fans, the following services are available: a skiing area and a ski transfer. Great value hotel would 100% return.

Great hotel nice and clean very warm.
Rooms very big plenty of spare with tv and mini bar.
Bathrooms and very clean and modern for Bulgaria.
The room was cleaned daily slept well.
Breakfast was ok for what we have paid fresh bread jams cheese ham yogurt fresh fruit.
Hot selection eggs either scrambled fried and boiled. Sausages beans mushrooms. Allways something to eat if you’re not fussy.
Bar Area was pleasant we used to come back from ski and sit and have a nice cold beer in the bar and just 2€. Also the bar made fresh squeezed orange juice.which our kids loved. Local wine was good too at only €2:50 per glass. The bar was very quiet but we quite liked that after a day on the slope.
Ski room was great as well with loads of spare and boot dryers to store stuff overnight.
Great shuttle bus service to and from the slopes daily. Always on time and never had to wait.
Reception and staff we found to be fine not rude as in other posts they just can’t speak English very well. They have a different culture to us. We found them all to be pleasant.
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the hotel for what we had paid. I feel we got a lot for our money.

You get what you pay for but some of the basics were bad.

Firstly the check in took ages with no apology for the wait. The car parking is not on site it is down the road , no big deal but they don’t tell you that they try to get you to pay on an app( which was really expensive. The room was basic and the toilet didn’t flush properly. I pointed that out to reception but they just looked at me blankly. The room stank of smoke and made me feel quite ill. The thing that got to me most though was how unfriendly the staff were. No good morning no hello , tried to avoid eye contact and just plain miserable. Spoilt the whole stay for me. Breakfast was very basic and poorly prepared and the woman in there was the most miserable out of the lot. I was there 6 nights ( meant to be 7 but I couldn’t stand it anymore so I went and booked into a lovely hotel at the airport for the last night. The only good thing about the place was the ski shuttle bus. Always on time and the driver was ok. The walls are really thin and you can hear everything through them. The bar is basic and the barman was the second most miserable one and no draft beer!!

Do not stay

The hotel in itself was actually quite nice however the experience was ruined by one rude member of staff and the food being diabolical. The receptionist was a blonde woman who was extremely rude for no reason at all. Refused to help us book a taxi or tell us where any helpful information for locations of restaurants, gondola times ect.
Aside from that the breakfast every morning consisted of cold breakfast items such as beans and bacon. The coffee machine was good and they served juice however the food was poor and exactly the same every day. Would not stay here again.

Never again

The staff was arrogant, the breakfast food was not diversified at all, they didn't care if people kept coming, they turned off the coffee machine right in front of me. The first day I arrived, I hadn't checked in because the room was occupied and they didn't even want to give us a coffee, even though I said we were paying for it. Plus there is no bed frame, you sleep on a mattress placed on another mattress, it's dirty and when I entered the room it smelled bad. I would never go back and I don't recommend it. plus they don't even have parking for customers, you have to pay

You get what you pay for.
Rooms had stained carpets and sofas/stools, however the cleaners did a great job at making up the beds and changing sheets/ towels/ replenishing toiletries daily upon request.
No air con, so gets very hot unless you sleep with a balcony door open.
Beds are fairly uncomfortable, but what can you expect for such cheap accommodation.
The bar is very expensive, would recommend going into town for drinks as town has a nicer environment too.
Free continental breakfast- very basic stuff, but can’t complain too much as it is included in the price of your stay.
The shuttle bus to the gondola is a great service provided, and the driver is very polite and friendly. It’s a shame I can’t say that for all of the staff. The receptionist with brown hair is lovely, she makes a real effort to speak English and her customer service is excellent! The blonde receptionist, on the other hand, is extremely rude. She makes you feel unwelcome, she definitely does not like English people. She shouted at me in Bulgarian for refilling my water bottle at breakfast (I paid for this!) How absurd! When I appeared confused, she proceeded to physically smack my bottle and shout ‘no no no’ very aggressively- as a young female - it was quite scary actually.
