Must read if you consider going here! RUN AWAY!
Run away from this hotel! Not even close for a 2*hotel let alone 4* . We got there in the afternoon and parked our cars near the designated area for the hotel parking. We went to the reception and the front guy told us that there is no more parking space for us we have to park somewhere else and pay for 3 days 15€ per day! ( mind you we got there around 5pm on saturday and left monday around 1pm thats 2 days not 3 ) he said the parking its 5min away( he didn't specify by car, not by foot ) the atmosphere was bad he gave us real bad attitude at the begging like we were the ones serving him not the other way around. we checked into our rooms , the room was not what we expected for 4* you don't have amenities except shampoo and towels. thats all you get for an all inclusive 4* hotel. we went to the reception and we told him we don't have water, what we meant was drinking water which you expect in an all inclusive , WRONG! He mocked us by opening a door behind him and turning on the sink water saying there is and when i told him i mean bottle water to drink he started laughing. he left me speechless , to ask about some tea and coffee? a hairdryer ? an iron? feet towel? duvet on the bed? mattress protector ? pillow protector? don't bother they don't know what they are! They put two glasses in the room, to look at them we were not welcomed from their expression, they never told us about the restaurant, about the times we can go and have a coffee , NOTHING! we had to ask for every detail, that doesn't seem good front desk experience to me! they were very rude to us as tourists , they don't respect us. And 1 more thing, if you think to go and eat there i hope you will be ready for food poisoning because that's what you going to get. the food is stale and cooked a very long time before serving, even the cereal that comes in a box it's expired, IT TASTES EXPIRED!!!! RUUUUUUNNNNNNNN AAAAWWWWAAAAAYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!

Dirty towels from staff and tried to blame me and charge me €30 for it.
They wanted to extra charge me €30 for a dirty towel that THEY delivered. The towels had stains on them the whole week, and they tried to blame it on us that we made the towel dirty that it couldn’t even wash, and ai washed it in the sink, therefore it tells you that these employees cannot wash a towel properly and they try to blame it on the guests, the beds were very dirty I will upload photos.
I’ve seen lots of older hotels but this one is definitely the dirtiest.

Do not stay here!
What a waste of money. The rooms are dirty. The staff are rude and got no time for English people. The balcony is falling apart. The food is disgusting. We had to wait 3 days for our toilet to be fixed. Our room was only cleaned once the full week we was there. The air conditioning was broken. The WiFi did not work. The female manager is the worse of them all. Things went missing out our room and she laughed in our faces and told us to go back to England. On our last day we checked out and charged us €30 so we could keep the room till 4pm ( I have invoice for this) then refused to give us the room key and told us to leave the premises even tho we paid so we was on the streets from 11.30am till 23.30pm when our pick up arrived for the airport. We Would never stay here again even if it was free!

Two and a half star tourist hotel
I booked a four-star hotel as a super last minute. The TripAdvisor rating is sufficient at first glance #75 of 252 on Sunny Beach. Only after paying did I start reading the reviews and start to worry. Upon arrival I find out that it's not such a horror. But you need to look at the hotel as a two and a half star, which is the real state. It definitely does not correspond to the four-star rating. The hotel is maintained in a declining condition. The furnishings are old, worn out. But the hotel it is clean. The food is in a narrow repetitive menu, the taste is average (not amazing, not offensive). The staff is normal (non-conflict). For the price of a super last minute, yes, but it definitely does not correspond to the full price.

The hotel didn't
I want to share my impression of the hotel "Mercury" holidayed with two children and a friend in July 2025. The room was just awful with the curtains ripped off and the blood drenched, so it felt like there was a massacre in front of us. The room has a double bed and a sofa euro cot and another small euro cot. So the couch was broken sleeping on it was impossible. When the staff were contacted to change our room they said there were no rooms available. And all seven nights I slept with two kids in a double bed. A friend slept on a small cot. There was no water in the bathtub, the door didn't close. Hot water came in two days later. The air conditioning was barely working. There's also a sunny side overlooking the market. Anyway, that's the number. For food, I want to write separately. The choice of dishes is the same for breakfast. There was a bit more range added to lunch and dinner. Ice cream by the clock. We didn't go hungry, but I'd like better for that kind of money. Something to compare. I don't know why he got a 4****.
