We have just finished a wonderful stay at Perelik Hotel and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and were always friendly, professional and happy to help.
The hotel itself is spotless, modern and exceptionally comfortable. Our room was spacious with beautiful mountain views, and the facilities are outstanding. The Body & Soul Spa is one of the highlights, with a fantastic swimming pool, excellent sauna facilities and wonderfully relaxing treatments. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring the Rhodope Mountains.
We visited during July, and one of the biggest surprises was how peaceful Pamporovo is in summer. There were no crowds, meaning we often had the pool almost entirely to ourselves, enjoyed quiet meals in the restaurant and could truly relax throughout our stay.
The location is also ideal for exploring everything the area has to offer. We enjoyed horse riding, the adventure park, the deer farm, the Snezhanka Tower, wonderful mountain scenery and some excellent local restaurants, all within easy reach of the hotel.
A special thank you also goes to our taxi driver, Vlad, who became an important part of our holiday. He was reliable, kind and always willing to help us get wherever we wanted to go.
If you’re looking for somewhere to escape the crowds, recharge your batteries and experience the beauty of Bulgaria’s Rhodope Mountains, I can wholeheartedly recommend Perelik Hotel

Upscale hotel with great breakfast. We visited in June, so off-season for the area.

Great hotel!
We loved our stay in Perelik! Our room was clean, well designed and had an amazing view. Location was great with a free shuttle bus every 15-30 minutes to and from ski centre 1&2, and several nice restaurants around if you haven’t got dinner included in the hotel. Yes breakfast was mostly the same each day but had lots of variety and we never found it running out and the staff would remove items that had been sat out a while and replace. You can get to Orlovetz hotel, Neptune and Glamour Chalet restaurants, and vintage bowling alley without going outside, there are underground passages through the hotel which is cool! We found the staff to be very friendly and happy to help, Bulgarians can come across as more direct to British customs of politeness (pleases and thank yous etc), but don’t be put off by the more direct communication! My only negative would be the hotel heating was on too high so it was very hot inside the whole hotel. But keeping the window open helped! Overall great stay and would stay again!

The hotel wasn’t acting like a 5* hotel. The facilities are good but the staff was extremely rude and incompetent. We were welcomed with no toilet paper in our room (like none) and no hair conditioner. The biggest shock for me was the receptionist who supposed to receive a package which I phoned earlier about and it was rejected 3 times with no phone call to me. I was advised to pay a taxi from Smolyan (€20) to return it back to the hotel. We also tried to order from reception cutlery to our room, they send us to the restaurant and the restaurant send us back to reception so no one actually was bothered to do that. I would never pay again for 5* hotel that doesn’t provide 5* services. Not worth the money

If you’re going skiing, it’s not a good option.
Their rooms are spacious and comfortable. The location is remote from the slopes and low-key for check-in and check-out. It''s got a nice spa and a pool. Breakfast is generous. The staff is unassuming. The hotel entrance isn’t cleaned out of snow and ice, so it’s hard to walk. It’s a torture to leave the hotel with your skies and hit the slopes. Zira, take your skies from the luggage room (there’s no place to sit), drop down the stairs, hop in with your minibus and reach the lifts. The vans with the arrangement don’t go all the way to the hotel. Returning is the same.
