One night to rest

We stopped at this hotel on the way to Greece, it is all you need to rest. It is super location, cleanliness, friendly staff, very good price, welcoming restaurant and good food, only if you are too picky breakfast is not very varied but we didn't mind, we found to serve something, another plus, if you leave before breakfast time I'll make you a package.

The "Kingdom" of the "guardians of the underworld"!

As soon as you approach the entrance of the hotel you are greeted by the Sef and Tuau (the guardians of the underworld)! The restaurant is literally invaded by 30 cats of different sizes and ages that makes you feel like preparing to meet Anubis for the final trip! Eating breakfast or dinner is an ultimate experience of the fusion of post-communist Bulgaria with the ancient Egypt of Koufu where the "guardians of the underworld" were spread everywhere! To make the atmosphere much more authentic, the food and drinks are served by a totally wasted waiter after he pets several cats! Eating is a real struggle cuz every second one of the cats that are under the table, under the chair, in bushes, etc is trying to jump on the table to grab your stuff! Definitely is the ultimate experience, but for sure you need to stay away from the restaurant! The "guardians of the underworld" are sleeping on the chairs, on the tables, on the benches, and I assume they roam free through the kitchen too! Eating there is a matter of public health hazard!!!
I cannot imagine what kind of public health rules and regulations they have in Bulgaristan, but they are poorer than those of Antique Egypt!!!
The hotel rooms are not great, not terrible, but only for one night! There is no elevator, so better ask for the first floor!
The roads from the highway to the city center remind me of rural Albania in the sixties!
If you need a place to sleep over, better avoid the rural Albania landscape of Sandanski!
If you travel for many hours, and wish to avoid getting poisoned with contaminated food, pack your sandwich on your own terms and conditions! Don't rely on irresponsible people!

Comfortable economical and clean room

Comfortable economical and clean room
We have stayed at this hotel many times in the past, everything was very good, but we went again in October 2023 and we don't think it has changed so much for the worse in everything.
The breakfast is very poor
In the evening we ate at the Hotel's restaurant but unfortunately we were not satisfied at all and the portions were very small.
The parking lot is a little in front of the Hotel with few places.
We did not like · That the Hotel does not have an elevator

Dirty and arrogant staff

Disgusting place and staff. They all should be fired including the manager. Never staying in the hotel ever again. It should be closed down for good. Typical bulgarian behaviour. I wasn’t surprised at all

Avoid at all costs - better to sleep under a bridge.

We stayed for 1 night on our way to Greece with our 1-year old daughter. There was a party at the restaurant and the music was extremely loud until 23:30. Our daughter goes to bed early and she couldn’t sleep until midnight. When I went downstairs at about 23:00 to talk to them, they told me that according to them we couldn’t hear the music in our room and they can turn it down a bit but cannot turn it off even though the law says no loud music after 22:00.
Carpets were stained in multiple places. There was mould in the bathroom and worst of all the baby cot for our 1-year old had brown stains on the side, which could not be cleaned.
Overall, a hugely disappointing experience. Would not come back again.
