Enjoyable

A bit out of sunny beach but buses, taxis, train or walking, no problem. Lovely clean hotel, small pool so hard to get a sunbed, we had a small balcony as the air con was low..should be higher to make more room but we managed, food lovely and snacks but restaurant small although you can eat outside. Staff friendly and polite, animation team really good and funny. We would return.

Cute little hotel

We were here for a week as a family of 4. Was a last minute booking and wasn’t sure what to expect. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!
Lots of pros - great food and lots of choices, even tho the hotel is on the smaller side there was no queues and plenty of food. All staff including the life guard work incredibly hard. Rooms cleaned daily, we stayed in room 212 and the space was more than adequate us, just balcony bit on the smaller side, but was never an issue. The pool bar opens at 11am (can only get alcohol from 11am - 11pm) The Animation team was great and really fun in getting everyone involved, my kids loved the mini disco but in our one week stay was only one act which was a circus act (he was great) every other night it was the animation team doing the evening shows like karaoke, quizzes, beer pong etc, but again was good fun. Only 30 min transfer from the airport
Cons - Getting a sunbed is an issue, just wasn’t enough for the amount of people at the hotel, we had to make sure we were down at 6am to get a bed. In our room was a lack of plug sockets. Easily fixed as we brought small extension plug. Few loose tiles in kids pool, my son cut his knee but life guard and the manager was fantastic and cleaned him up. The manager was on the case and had people in to fix it (can’t ask for more)

Beach less then 10min walk away gorgeous sandy beach but look out for the jellyfish! Have to pay for sunbeds. We paid 18euro that was for 2 beds, table and umbrella.
Central location for old town nessebar and sunny beach, bus stops less then a minute away from hotel, plenty of bars and restaurants/supermarkets nearby if didn’t want to go in to towns.
We went to the action waterpark was fab for my 10 and 5 year old. Lot less queues than the Nessebar one.
Overall we enjoyed our stay, fantastic value for 3star hotel. everyone was friendly and helpful. We made some great friends and very glad we came. We would happily come for a week again.

August stay

Very nice stay! Always cleaning and the food was lovely. The only problem was the sunbeds unable to get one in the mornings. Apart from that really enjoyed our stay.

Aktinia Room 602

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aktinia Hotel, The entertainment was Great with the Animation team always doing something to entertain everyone, The sunbeds located around the pool were snapped up quick on the mornings but if they were not being used then Lightning the Life Guard would remove towels which i thought was a great idea and the beach is only a 5-10min walk away with lots of beds for about €5 a day, The food was also Excellent with plenty to choose from and even a chef cooking fresh food right there and then also themed nights (Mexican/Bulgarian/Italian), Drinks were a plenty as well Plastic Cups around the pool Glass from the main bar if asked for all local Spirits, Wines and Lager, The cleaning staff were also on form constantly cleaning rooms/seating areas/wiping down/Mopping the floors which gives a great feel to the place, Rooms were a standard set up Beds/Bathroom with shower/Tv/Balcony/Fridge Could maybe do with more than 3 Sockets Though. The Location is bang in the middle of Nessebar and Sunny beach about a 45min walk each way or jump on the bus €1.6 or train ride €4 per person.
Overall a Great Holiday and would definitely go back again.

Had an amazing time at the Aktinia hotel. All staff were so friendly and helpful.
Hotel was clean and tidy.
Great atmosphere due to animation staff. Special thanks to Bobby, Sasha and Yavor.
Location in quite area but nice walk to Flower street or Old Town Nessebar.
