Highly recommended hotel - But: unfortunately in a not very recommended city.

Smolyan is located – very long – in a valley and only and only friendly is the environment; the beautiful mountains.
However, the hotel is an ideal place from which you can target numerous points in the area to make sightseeing visits or start hiking and similar from there.
The hotel is located in a spectacular new building with free parking in front of it and the interior of the building is also very elaborately designed. The reception staff was very friendly and our room was excellent in every respect: Size, facilities, views, cleanliness. The environment was very quiet and there were also some restaurants in the immediate vicinity with country cuisine.
The value for money was also excellent.
Catastrophic was only the fitness area; all moving parts were broken.

Good hotel and good location in city centre.

The Luxor hotel is part of a complex in the city-centre, and at the east-end of the pedestrian area.
Reservation over the phone went smooth, and the hotel is easy to find, and has a small underground parking.
The room was very good, large and comfortable, with excellent bathroom and wifi.
For dinner, I walked into the pedestrian area and found several good places to eat.
Sleep was Excellent and breakfast was ok.
All in all I can recommend this hotel: Good Rooms, Excellent location.

Lovely hotel, amazing staff

First the price is perfect for the quality the hotel presents to you. The room was clean, spacious and we'll furnished. There was little touches that made me feel welcomed, like covers for the glasses, triangular shape for the end of the toilet paper, and so on.
The restaurant does not work, but there is coffee and tea the whole day, and in the morning light snacks.
Let me tell you about the staff, they are the most helpful, welcoming, and friendly people you will meet.
Be sure to check this hotel if you visit Smolyan, you will not regret it.
I will most definitely stay there the next time I visit Smolyan.

Everything fine

Unpretentious but good large room with a view, good, efficient and friendly staff, clean.
Located at the end of the pedestrian street in the town centre. I would probably come here again if in Smolyan.

Nice and clean

I visit this hotel from time to time for my bussiness trips. I have been in 2 rooms in the hotel and they were very clean and big. The last time i was here i stayed in studio for one and there is very big bed. The only thing that not seem so clean was the couch ... there were suspicious spots there... but overall nice and clean. The front desk was very helpfull and polite. There is also a parking, which is under the hotel.... its realy small and its hard to manuever.
Cons: no real breakfast, old air-con.
