Don't call it a hotel!!!

It is impossible to rate this place as a hotel because it has no features. Shall we talk about the dirty, old mattress? Or the fact that half a tent is missing and neighbors who use the same balcony look at you in the room if they go out? Or even that the shower doesn't even have a curtain or that there was still the shower gel sample used by previous guests and there would be a thousand other notes to make. The most deceptive fake is that the photos of the "so-called hotel", do not exactly coincide with reality, they were certainly taken a few decades ago when they opened this place.
It's fine if they define it as accommodation or hostel, but don't call it Hotel!!!

I want a full refund.

It didnt look like on the pictures. The furniture was very dirty. It had some stains on the couch and pillows.
When I came in the room which had cardboard doors (i guess that is the material because it was so thin), I went to the bathroom to check it and I saw someones second business in the toilet which wasnt flushed. Plus the whole toilet board was covered in feces.
I called the person from the reception and he came and cleaned it with some water and toalet paper.
So one person is managing the whole place i guess?
I had to find another place because i couldnt sleep there because even the sheets were dirty and i just didnt want to get something.

Avoid at all costs!

Horrendous ‘hotel’
Smell of cigarette smoke was awful, room was absolutely disgusting. No running water, toilet had no flush, human excrement in the toilet due to this. Hole in the wall behind toilet had a used condom floating in septic tank. Left nearly straight after walking in, disgusting place!
Had to find alternative accommodation and no refund given.
It was booked through a third party, so I had no control over booking. Avoid at all costs!
There’s an amazing hotel 2 minutes walk away so even being in a good location is no reason to stay here.

"Boutique" it isn't. Very basic cheap bed for the night.

Now this room was cheap and close to Sofia centre. I think that's probably the best thing I can say about it and it goes downhill from there. Staff go home by around 8.00pm so no one is there to greet you (or resolve problems) if you get there after that. First big problem... the aircon didn't work at all. Not ideal on a hot evening and so we had the windows open all night and were kept awake by noisy trams thundering past as well as aeroplanes flying right overhead until quite late. Minute TV on the wall with very low volume sound. Flooring very grotty and worn, one lamp over the bed mangled and bent with mains wires exposed, ceiling fan on the shower room was just a dark gaping hole. Loo was leaking from somewhere and trickled slowly into the central floor drain. No food/breakfast available though you are five minutes from plenty of restaurants. The bed seems strangely low down and the mattress was just foam, no springs. Smoke detector missing from ceiling. Cracked/broken glass top on the window sill. Hole in the wall plugged with a dirty tissue. The word "Boutique" implies small but sophisticated and maybe it was a nice place once but it's now sadly neglected.
