Hotel Lucky :)

We stayed there for the weekend and we were very satisfied!
The staff is polite and helpful.
They let us chose a room depending on the view and we got to see the Tsarevets light show from our balcony!
Otherwise the room was clean and in great contidion!
They have a parking area which gets closed at night and its very secure.

Stay away from this hotel so it doesn't ruin your vacation.

They didn't clean the room. There was dust, hair and a lot of mess on the floor. There were cobwebs and spiders on the ceiling. The bed linen and towels were torn and stained. The bathroom was equally dirty, the toilet has traces of faeces and pee. There were hairs in the sink. We asked at the reception to clean the room. A maid came with a mop with which she collected the thick mess in the center of the room, otherwise it remained the same. She didn't entered the bathroom. I am attaching photos to support what I told.

Nice view

The view is amazing. In the evening there was a light show at the tsaravet citadele that we watched from the balcony. The rooms are decent. Don't expect much. The breakfast was terrible. If I knew this, i would have skipped it to save time. There were slices of bread with margarine and salami that did not look good and something like sponge cake rolls with a lot of sugar. The coffee was ok though (lavazza done at the esspresso machine). The parking was hard to reach and the staff did not speak english nor accepted payment by card. We paid in euros and received change in levas.

Perfect location, perfect view

The hotel is very nice and located in the center of the old town. The rooms are small but good. The hygiene is good, and the breakfast is fresh, even though not bountiful. The view is Everything! You see Tsarevets, Trapezica and all surroundings on the palm of your hand. Simply breathtaking! I recommend the hotel for all who wish to be in a walking distance from all attractions of the old town.

Great location , ok amenities

Location is great, walking distance from the old city centre and the citadel. Be prepared during the warm season for mosquitos if you plan on staying on the balcony in the evening. Breakfast is kind of poor: 2 sorts of cereal ( cornflakes and cocoa balls) , salami & margarine&a trace of cheese&bread, slices of cake, herbal tea and coffee (good coffee). Our sheets and blankets had yellow spots on them and they were drying the sheets on the stairs railing which is at least awkward. Staff don't speak English almost at all. If you are looking for a place to sleep and be close to everything in the city then it'a worth it.
