Misleading 4 star hotel — not even close.
We chose this hotel based on the photos, but the reality was completely different.
The location was great — just about 50m from the beach.
The first room had a bad smell, no towels, a broken fridge, and non-working air conditioning. My wife even found broken glass on the floor.
The second room was slightly better, but still dirty and poorly maintained — damaged walls, a cracked shower splash panel, and again, no working fridge or AC.
We were told the air conditioning would start working on June 1. It never did.
Cleanliness across the hotel was unacceptable. In the restaurant, plates, cups, and cutlery often had visible stains. The pool area was also dirty and poorly maintained.
The final “highlight” — we requested takeaway breakfast in advance, confirmed it the day before, and on departure morning there was no staff and no breakfast.
The only positives were the balcony and the restaurant staff. Food was tasty as well even though the variety wasn't great.
Everything else felt worn out, misleading, and far below any 4 star standard.

Good location, awful hotel - dirty and very worn out
The hotel was in a great location, but that was the only positive aspect.
The entire property felt very worn out, which would have been the least of our problems, but everything also felt dirty and sticky. The air conditioning was not working. The reception staff promised it would start working on June 1st; we stayed for another three days after that, but it never started working.
We were also promised a takeaway breakfast for our departure day, but there was no one at the reception in the morning, our calls went unanswered, and we were left without breakfast. The catering staff was lovely, and while the food selection was very small, it was tasty. Unfortunately, the unfriendliness at the reception and the lack of cleanliness throughout the hotel overshadowed the positive aspects

Do not book!
Horrible state of rooms. The hotel is run down looks like hasn't had a repair in decades. Cleanliness is a myth here. I would not recommend. Staff is nice though. Food is not good either. The hotel looks nothing like the picture.

Bad hotel, Petrovac beautiful and tranquil
Location was great with beach outside and bars restaurants not far and the atmosphere in the town was lovely as we were lucky to experience a few local end of season festivities, however generally quiet at night.
However all the niceties stop there and when we arrived we were going to reception for check in through an unfinished building car park. Check in was also difficult as receptionist could not find our booking and asked us if we had paid and to send confirmation, which was a little disorganised and unprofessional. We were promised a 4 star stay however we got the opposite- we were put on the other side in an unfinished hotel section overlooking another unfinished hotel site and floors were not hoovered. The bed wasn’t set up with 2 single beds as we had requested days before arrival. Draining system was also awful in the shower so flooded the whole floor. The breakfast was bland, tasteless and cold and there was not much choice to begin with. There were choices of nuggets and pizza which was a bizzare choice for a breakfast! We had to seek for food elsewhere which was a shame as we didn’t really factor this in our budget as we’d already paid for the breakfast so not really good value for money in the long run. On the last evening we walked into the “hotel” to find they had taken all the lamps out of our room which was really strange and left them in the hall way. Definitely felt like a cat fish hotel and would not recommend to book a stay at all. However I would recommend Petrovac as a place to visit 100% as it gives for a tranquil and peaceful stay with stunning surrounding scenery and really good day excursions.

Dobra lokacija, usluga užasna. 5 dana smo tu, soba ni jednom nije spremljena. Pola gostiju ima stomačni virus, kao inmi.
Greate location and that's it. We are here for 5 days, the room wasn't clean at all, we have clean towels if we see cleaning lady in the hall and begging. Right moment, half guests have stomack desease, including my husband. Horibble, horibble expiriance, never again.
