I would recommend the place
A great hotel in a top location. A bit old, but they keep it well under control. The room was very warm and in the bathroom there was underfloor heating.There was parking for 25 euros per day. Small sauna area, but the pool is separate from the sauna. Breakfast was very good. Great service. Dinner was ok with us in the first evening, very delicious in the second. Downstairs, in the bar are very reasonable prices. I would love to come back. A thank you to staff - they speak several languages and very accommodating.

Overall, a very good hotel!
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very conveniently located, the breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful. However, there were a few things that meant our stay wasn’t quite perfect. We had booked a suite and expected a certain level of comfort. Unfortunately, there was an unpleasant smell in the toilet and the water in the kitchenette was brown. The shower water was either too hot or too cold – there was no in-between. I also booked a massage. The massage was good, but the atmosphere wasn’t relaxing – an open window, traffic noise and disturbances from the masseur’s colleagues.
All in all – a good hotel, but with room for improvement to make the stay something special.

Short vacation.
Central location and a good starting point for activities. However, the parking is very expensive. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but overall still acceptable. The staff was friendly.
I would advise against the half-board option: Unfortunately, the dinner was inedible and always cold. The breakfast, on the other hand, was okay.
The wellness area is rather small and not inviting.

Changes in nutritional quality
We have been vacationing at the Dvořák Hotel in Karlovy Vary for about 20 years, and for our family it has always been a special place to return to time and again. The location, the level of medical care, the atmosphere, all of these things still remain good.
However, we have seen significant changes in the quality of nutrition over the past two or three years, and unfortunately not for the better. Catering has always been one of the hotel's strengths, but now it is noticeably simplified and less varied. This is particularly true for meat dishes: the choice is mostly pork, chicken and game, with no more familiar and sought-after items such as beef or veal.
We sincerely hope that this is a temporary change, and that the hotel will be able to return to the previous kitchen level, which met the overall high bar of the service. For us as regular guests, this is a really important moment.

Regular, I might be better off with some little things.
We stayed 3 days. Good breakfast and facilities are fine. Bad beds and pillows. Czech-only TV. There is only shampoo, no conditioner or cream. Regular attention. I don't know if it's because we're foreigners and they don't speak very good English but they weren't welcoming at all. Leaving this area, which is very touristy, people are more friendly and pleasant. The pool and saunas are fine.
