Contemporary, calming, unfussy feel

We had just 1 night in this beautiful hotel and room – balcony room 301 on the third floor. Small furnished balcony overlooking the street, where we enjoyed coffee in the morning, a huge room, comfortable bed, perfect pillows, lovely bathroom including a bidet and modern walk-in shower. Comfortable, quiet, contemporary, clean, and calming. The only things missing were 1. wash cloths – unfortunately rather common in EU countries 2. a make-up mirror, and
3. convenient space to store folded clothes.
Excellent staff including the gentleman who checked us in, Barbora on reception the next morning, who was friendly and accommodating, and especially Rosie in the breakfast room, who was exceptionally warm, gracious and kind - even though we were only there for one night, she insisted on giving us a take away box of gluten-free breads and pastry for our our next destination.
Buffet breakfast provided a wide variety of hot and cold foods that will not leave you wanting.
Perfect location with street parking (free after 6 PM on Friday and on weekends) and a <5 min walk into old town with its wonderful restaurants and sites.
Efficient check-in provided an option to do it online, which meant that on arrival we were quickly shown to our room. The spa was under renovation so we did not have the benefit of that, nor would we have had the time to use it. Therefore not an issue for us.
Were we to return to this charming city we would not hesitate to stay at this beautifully renovated hotel again.

The hotel was very clean, with a spacious room and an extremely comfortable bed. The staff were especially friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
One thing that is often overlooked is the importance of the housekeeping staff. They are in your room, around your personal belongings, while you are away, so trust really matters.
I want to give the highest possible praise to the housekeeper who looked after our room. She was kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. She made us feel completely comfortable, and I trusted her completely. She is a real credit to the hotel

Spacious room on ground floor was perfect for us. We particularly liked the separate toilet to the shower room and excellent Nespresso machine which also had fruit tea pods.
Definitely recommend the spa on the top floor which we had to ourselves on the Friday evening. Perfect way to unwind after a day of travelling and sightseeing.
Location is ideal for walking around the city and public transport. The trams are so easy to use.
Good choice of nearby restaurants and coffee shops.
