Highly recommend!
Very upscale and comfortable. Compared to US dollars, it was WAY above and beyond! Highly recommend. I even did massage and it was the best one I e EVER had!

Staff was so kind and location couldn’t have been more perfect. Beautiful rooms and service at breakfast was great with several items on a buffet as well as made to order. I would definitely recommend staying here while visiting Prague!

Beautiful property
The rooms here are just gorgeous; so nice to come "home" to after a long day of exploring the city! The location is fantastic, being right in the middle of it all, but tucked off enough to the side of main streets as to be isolated from city noise, supporting a good night's sleep. It's a short walk to the Malostranska Metro, the Prague Castle, and the Charles Bridge, so no matter what's on the itinerary, it's an easy reach from here. The breakfast is excellent, and it also sits in a stunning room with the option to take breakfast on an even more lovely balcony. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. Across the board, they were younger than expected for a property like this, but they were always on hand to assist.

Wonderful hotel!
My wife and I spent 4 nights here over our 20th anniversary week. We cannot say enough about the Alchymist. It’s beautiful, the service is wonderful, the rooms are luxurious, and the breakfast upstairs is both delicious and a great way to meet fellow travelers. There is a large table for 10 or so people and we all sat together each morning to eat, catch up on the previous day and talk about plans for that day - we got some great tips and ideas for seeing Prague at breakfast.
The location is also great - a quiet corner very close walking to food and sites, including the Prague Castle.

AVOID THIS HOTEL
AVOID!!!
Poor noise isolation and unprofessional staff!
I strongly regret booking this hotel. It is absolutely not worth the price and can seriously ruin your stay.
The photos online looked beautiful but in reality it felt like false advertising. We were given a room directly underneath the restaurant and every morning from 7:30 AM we were woken up by loud noises tables being dragged and constant footsteps right above our heads. This is not the level of comfort you expect from a 5-star hotel especially at around €400 per night.
On the day of arrival, I asked the receptionist, Olesya if it was possible to change rooms. She told me the hotel was fully booked and the only option was to cancel without any refund and simply smiled. This response was dismissive and unhelpful and honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had,
despite traveling frequently.
There are many excellent hotels in Prague. I would strongly recommend choosing another place rather than risking a stay here with such poor room conditions and lack of proper service.
