Great experience in wing of student hostel - I know..... why would you ?
Stayed 2 nights on business trip to Czech Technical University. Hotel is in a wing of a large college student hall. Room a bit noisy with window open due to proximity of road but didn't really stop me sleeping. In general - faded grandure but actually quite nice all the same. Quite a buzz about the place. Good breakfast in "hotel guests only" breakfast room. Very convenient for CTU and within 40 minutes stroll of Charles bridge. Would recommend to 20-somethings and those "young at heart" but if you like the finer things in life you might not appreciate its charm.

No amenities, AC and bathrooms are
My son is currently staying there for a music intensive and is in the process of looking for another hotel since he still has 4 more days. He had to purchase his own towels and toilet paper, roaches in the shower and no air conditioning. The rooms are neat , but no amenities at all as listed in the description. Would recommend to stay somewhere else since there are lots of choices nearby.

Horrible customer service, not a hotel and flagrant false advertising.
Horrible customer service. At 10:30 am they came knocking furiously to the door of my room to demand that I leave the premises by 11h or they would CALL THE POLICE.
Nobody had told us about the check-out time being 10 am. It's nowhere to be seen in the website or in reception. They argued that they had been trying to warn me at 10 am. At that time I was in a phone call with my dad because my mom was being hospitalized due to an emergency. For this reason I did not open the door initially. I told this to the receptionist when she came to my door next and she completely disregarded me and insisted that I left the "hotel".
I had to swallow my sorrow and rush to pack my suitcase. I left the room at 10:55, and I saw the same woman already walking toward my room prepared to another warning! I felt extremely insulted and taken advantage of.
The "hotel" is a shabby student dorm which they adapted to host a few more guest for a ridiculously expensive price, considering the state of the rooms and those "holy premises". Also, "adapted" is a strong word, the state of the rooms in the "hotel" is depressing, the rugs are dirty, handle bars are broken, there are barely any sockets... The staff must be used to annoying erasmus students who party all night in the "hotel" and need to be silenced every now and then. That's the only rational explanation I can find for the poor treatment they gave me when I had to be lodged there to attend an international conference.
Moreover, the breakfast was insipid, very few alternatives (especially for vegetarians) and again, shabby dining room full of noisy students. Not that I have anything against them, but it's a dorm. It shouldn't be advertised as a 3 star hotel.
Lastly, I paid for a double room, wrote them to make sure that we would have a double bed, they assured me I would and instead I get twin beds and a third bed in a separate room. They charged 5.950 CZK (about 233€) extra for this.
In summary: horrible customer service, not a hotel and flagrant false advertising.

Studen housing-Not your typical hotel
I spent a total of 5 nights in two spell. First I was on the 5th, floor It was very hot and noisy due to the garbage cans being in the yard below, also traffic. My second visit, I was on the 2nd, floor which was much better. This is the first hotel I have stayed in with most of the furniture broken due to student damage.
In the past, it was students lodgings and some are still resident. The room and bedding was clean and breakfast continental. Staff was good apart from my last day when I went to collect my suitcase. I had checked out earlier. I asked to use the toilet and was told it was in the restaurant which was closed. I am disabled, and asked to use the disabled toilet. I was told it was private. I asked why have a disabled toilet when a disabled person cannot use it? Grudgingly, I was allowed to use it but the duty staff opened it with an attitude.. This was 23/8
The location is great for the tram and metro and in spite of the last day, I plan to stay there in October. I was given a map to locate my room

Most disgusting hotel/dorm
What you see in these pictures are multiple spots of mold within this hotel room/bathroom the water also is contaminated and after showering here for about a week or two I had to make a trip to the hospital as the water damaged my skin greatly with burns and rashes. The accommodation service is beyond horrible especially since the cleaners clearly have not cleaned rooms for a very long time mostly likely years. This place is very unprofessional and is the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed. If you don’t want burns and rashes from a shower don’t go here.
