Lovely stay

Excellent location in the old town of Znojmo, you can walk just about anywhere from here.
The room was clean and comfy, with an excellent shower. Breakfast was simple but tasty, with a wide range of meats, cheeses and bread.

No interest in guests at all

We appeared on the doorstep of the hotel at midnight sharp as we had to drive really slow because of very thick fog. Nobody opened the door. We called the given phone number to hear they can't help us as the check-in time is before midnight!!! We've travelled 2500 km from Russia through a lot of countries. In none of them we faced such attitude. It's a pity indeed that cases like this make you lose trust in TripAdvisor & booking.

Very unfriendly, room with so small window I got claustrofobic

We chose this place because of good appraisal on booking.com and because of good location. It was planned as romantic evening in the historic centre of Znojmo. We arrived there in rainy day, everytnig was closed. After some time owner let us get in and showed us our room. What a suprprice - for not exactly low price there was a room with such a small window, it could not be meant as a regular room! (20x20 cm)
We were very diappointed and asked for different room or discount. The owner (respectively husband of the owner) told us it is not possible. We decided to leave and expected he will suggest reasonable conditions. What was our surprise the next day morning, when 100% fee (full amount for the booking) disappered from our account. Such a behaviour is unacceptable. We complained in booking.com, but the owner refused to talk about any settlement. There might be very good rooms, but when you book you cannot chose the exact room, there is no descritption. I cannot imagine someone would behave like this abroad (we travelled the world). Big warning from me!

Very good option for business travel in great location

I was looking for a one night stay in Znojmo while in a business trip. Residence Zvon ("The Bell Residence") was a very good choice: location right next to the Old Town and proximity to good restaurants, very atmospheric interior (lots of stairs and hidden doors), good breakfast and professional service. Cozy rooms, a lot of wooden decor, and a nice restaurant inside the hotel add to the very positive image.

Very nice bed & Breakfast

Right in the centre of Znojmo lies this very nice bed & breakfast. The old building is very charming, but comes with quite some staircases... The room was very nice, and so was the breakfast room. The breakfast was fresh and sufficient. In front of the building there are a few reserved parking lots, so hurry up, if you want one of them.
