A beautiful place, a fabulous view. Sleeping in a palafito is an experience, more than recommended!!!

Great location, lovely apartment

Great location. Lovely apartment. Lots of space, fantastic views. A beautiful palafito in the prettiest bit of Castro.
Spacious lounge with kitchen overlooking the estuary. The road is great but a bit of a climb to the rest of the town. Lovely staff.

It's what you want to have when you leave home.

A well thought out space. Spacious and comfortable. Cozy and Tidy. Good beds. Good bathrooms. Excellent heating. Extraordinary views, especially at dawn. Practical and well-equipped kitchen. Assigned outside parking. Clean to the point of obsession. You must call by phone upon arrival. Numbers are available at reception.

Overcharged by 90%

I was charged almost double the published rate for a 5 night stay and was refused a refund when I requested it. Upon check in, I paid a flat amount and was not given an itemized bill or receipt. When I researched the published rate, I discovered the discrepancy in what I paid. The owner said the additional charge was for breakfast and cleaning, which was not included in the standard rate. I explained I was not given the option to decline those services. Also, I was charged the 19% tax that does not apply to me, as I am traveling on a tourist visa. The owner refused to refund this tax or make any other compensation for the amount she overcharged me. In fact, she was very rude and defensive.
On top of this, we were given the worst room on the property, with only a very narrow terrace that did not even have room for a chair.
Also note, the noise of barking dogs is constant, day and night.

it was explained to him that his reservation entered through another hotel, as are all the backup emails, long before his arrival he was given the rate and conditions and he even proposed to contact directly with the hotel agents that I book at the beginning, we only operate the change of intalacion and offer the additional service of toilet and breakfast, which normally are not included in our stipulated rate, if you were not satisfied with the price sent almost one month before your arrival for a change of another hotel that closed its doors and rehubico their guests could discard the option without problems and not question the fare option the day before your check out .
we assign a beautiful apartment with terrace overlooking the sea, with breakfast and toilets all included. and with a price agreed and accepted by you one month before your arrival, there are all the backup emails.
the payment was made in pesos with a credit card, so in those cases, VAT should be applied, because the vaucher issued in Chilean pesos in our legislation is a ballot. The tax exemption only applies when the payment is made in US dollars.
