This is a lovely hotel! I had a room on the 3rd floor with a view to the ocean and to the Dunes - amazing! The owner and staff are so friendly and helpful. The decor is really fun! They have a lovely breakfast, too! I really enjoyed my stay here. Also, they're pet friendly!

Hotel Velero Express and Hotel Velero Cavancha

We had a terrible experience, first because what we bought under the concept of hotel , never was appears as "Hotel Velero Express" located in the center of Iquique, when we arrived we saw a fairly humble place, we had to climb our luggage through a very narrow staircase to a fourth floor, when entering the triple room, we found a bedroom without curtains right on the window where more the sun enters, no air conditioning less a fan, the shower wet the whole floor, breakfast was never buffet, all I wanted was to cry helpless and disappointment, I talked to the owner and changed us to the Hotel Velero Cavancha, although it has the necessary amenities, the owner's treatment leaves much to say, high-handed man, who cannot argue without offense, using qualifications towards me for demanding an explanation because on Sunday February 8, we had no breakfast... The explanation was “We forgot to warn the cafeteria, a place that unlike the Hotel is a cafeteria luxury.
Fortunately Iquique surprised us and gave us the bitter drink of the experience at Hotel Velero Express and Hotel Velero Cavancha.

If you want to sleep Find a nother place

You can not call this an Hotel. Noicy, dirty. Hot and realy ugly rooms. So if you want a good nights sleep. Stay away from this place. Tiny rooms with some make shift bathroom. Tiny bed. No Ac or fan. A lot of loud music. The breakefast was some scrambled eggs and dry bread and Coffee.

The hotel complies

Simple but well attended hotel, very well located, safe and at a good price. I recommend that on Fridays and Saturdays you ask for the rooms facing the back because the first floor is used as a pub-restaurant and a lot of people go there, with the resulting noise until late.
