Hen party
We went to Rock Glacier to celebrate a friend's hen party and the experience was amazing. The place is perfect to relax and enjoy: it has a jacuzzi, swimming pool, massage area and sauna, all very well maintained and designed to disconnect.
In addition, the breakfast is exquisite, well presented and delicious, ideal to start the day after a day of spa and relaxation. The atmosphere is quiet, welcoming and lends itself much to special celebrations.
A place fully recommended for getaways, celebrations among friends or just to rest and give yourself away. Undoubtedly, an experience we would repeat.
In addition, the breakfast is exquisite, well presented and delicious, ideal to start the day after a day of spa and relaxation. The atmosphere is quiet, welcoming and lends itself much to special celebrations.

Beautiful loft in Elqui Valley
Just amazing. Of the most beautiful places I've ever been. The place is really magical, beautiful landscapes of the Valley and its mountains, stunning starry nights. The cottage is wonderful with a view over the valley from almost every one of its places. A delightful bed, a deck with various areas to appreciate the scenery and a private hot tub to enjoy the magnificent sunsets. It has a very nice pool with pool with excellent sun loungers that are never full as they are only three cabins. Every morning they bring you to the cabin a delicious breakfast. Javier who is in charge of the cabins is very friendly and diligent. It responds to the least need very quickly and with the greatest willingness. It has no food service other than breakfast so I recommend buying some things to eat there because they do not want to go out. There is a small grill and a kitchen and oven with basic.
The loft offers bicycles with electric assistance that we do not use this time but we will certainly return. Great discovery.

Amazing night under the stars and moon! Exquisite place. Worth the trek!
If you want to stay in the heart of the Elqui Valley and be nearly as remote as one can be while still having incredible WiFi - this is the spot! We spent one night here but should have booked more. The only tricky piece about this spot is getting here off the main road. While it isn’t a far distance you really should have 4WD. The road is tight and severe switchbacks. You also need to bring in food with you especially if you don’t have a car. Each unit is exquisitely designed to allow you to cook dinners indoors or out with a regular sized fridge and freezer to boot.
To say this place is magical might be a vast understatement. We spent the late afternoon hiking up to the scenic lookout (although each unit has its own incredible views and privacy for late nights in the hot tub). We spent the next 2 hours by the pool which given how hot it is actually had cool water for swimming and lovely shaded lounge chairs.
We brought in drinks and a pizza with us for our evening and it was perfect. We turned off all the lights and just sat outside watching the moon rise over the mountains as the sunset. After we spent hours soaking in the hotel tub watching more stars appear in the sky. Just magical!
The interior is well appointed too with great bedding, linens, towels and vegan shower products that smelled and felt like luxury after having traveled for so long.
For breakfast the following morning, we were brought a delicious selection of fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, croissants, cheese and more! Each unit it also outfitted with a tea pot, tea, a moka coffee maker and ground coffee!
If we ever have the chance to come back to the Elqui Valley we will 1000% book this spot again!
Also - be sure when in the area to book the 3 hours tour and wine tasting at vinedos de alcohauz! The guide essentially gave us the entire history of the area from different stops along the tour that changes in elevation 5 times! The vineyard is magnificent. The best excursion we’ve ever taken to a winery anywhere in the world.
