Beautiful old landmark townhouse converted to B&B. Super-friendly service. Raoul, the owner, speaks excellent English. Great location near subway and lots of restaurants.

Decent but not great

Horrible time getting the hot water to work. As with so many chilean calefont systems, this one was rather poor for reliable hot water and resulted in some disagreeably cold moments. The breakfasts are not "American style" by any stretch but rather purely standard chilean fare, and undistinguished. The staff were very pleasant but often absent. Noise from other rooms and from tiny breakfast table but only moderate street noise. Private/ensuite bathroom was stupidly narrow and uncomfortable but fixtures modern and worked properly... except for the hot water. Bed comfortable. Clean environment. Use of kitchen microwave and kettle permitted but no cooking allowed. Pleasant neighbourhood and good and varied eating nearby. Wiki worked. Fairly close to metro and minimarkets. Surcharge for credit card use if you can even convince them to accept cards.

Very nice & affordable

Great location near metro and public transportation. The houses in this neighborhood were declared national monument because they were built in 1920. I booked a suite. Small bedroom, but comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast included in the price. Quiet and super clean. The attendant, Veronica is a sweetheart who went out of her way to accommodate my needs.

Lovely Hosts but expensive for what is a small B&B

We were quite amused to find this B&B was extremely small in size when we paid more than USD$80 for two nights. We found the bathroom too tiny and not clean. The room was extremely tiny and we found the beds too low for our liking.
In some positives, the caretaker went over and above to help us with our broken spanish. The owner also arranged us a taxi at 2am for our flight to Punta Arenas. But the stay let us down.

Poor checking, Hot shower and the attendant is so helpful

warning:
We had one bad-first-experience for the checking.
I booked at 7am online. The payment of the confirmation was done.
I left Brazil at 13h of the same day and during the flight i received the Guide of how to do the checking (at 19h).
We landed at 20h and 21h we were in front of the door knocking in the frozen neighborhood. (Note: we had no internet access)
No success to enter and after 3 hours waiting we picked a hotel for this night and with the WIFI we realized that we needed to arrange the checking but there was no comunication.
I was so pissed and I spend loads of money just to sleep that night,
PS: The owner didnt care about what occurred and I needed to pay this "lost day" twice (for the hotel and for him).

The breakfast is great: eggs, bread, fruits, coffe or tea, juice and jelly

The attendants was amazing with us. They were trying to help us with everything we needed. Good mood all day long.
