Sensational
The owner of the place is Hugo. He lives next door. Hugo definitely made a difference on our trip. He is native to the Island. He knows everything and everyone there. He welcomed us at the airport with flower necklaces and took us in his car to see part of the island, giving great suggestions on where we could find products and services.
The bungalows are charming and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. There is everything you need, from microwave, refrigerator, stove, electric kettle, hairdryer, towels, liquid soap, shampoo, plates, cutlery, cups, glasses, instant coffee and Hugo even brings bottles of mineral water if you want.
Does not include breakfast and was not necessary. There is an amazing bakery (O Te Ahi) on the Island (recommended by Hugo). We always bought breakfast items there.
To enter almost all tourist sites on the Island, you need to have a guide OR BE ACCOMPANIED BY A NATIVE (we didn't find this information before going to the Island). Being a native of the Island, Hugo made a price to take us to places (half the price a guide charges!). We did a one-day tour with a guide and another day with Hugo. The tour with Hugo was sensational. That's because, being a native and knowing everyone on the island, he even managed to take my friend and I to a place that was closed and that the guides don't take (like the crater of the Rano Raraku volcano). And Hugo knows as much as the guide did. Still, he has stories of his ancestors that he tells. He also participated in restorations of moais on the Island and even in the film Rapa Nui (1994).
After taking the tours that required a guide/native, we thought about renting a car to go to places like the beautiful and paradisiacal beach of Anakena. We were downtown looking for vehicles to rent when we thought: Hugo must have someone to recommend at a good price. We sent a WhatsApp message to Hugo, he already responded, picked us up at the center and took us to a cousin of his where we rented a Jime 4x4. The affection and helpfulness of Hugo and his relatives is sensational.
Hugo also took us to see the sunrise in Ahu Tongariki and in a perfect place to take photos (much better than the one where the guides take the people who were there at the time). Hugo even gave tips on how to take a photo next to the moai of Tongariki (the photos turned out great).
There is only one radio on the Island and the signal is weak. Hugo lent us a music pendrive for our trips with Jime. Great selection of music that made a difference driving on the island's beautiful roads.
On the Island it is also very difficult to get a Wi-Fi signal. Not even all restaurants have it (it's difficult to find one that has it and also provides the password lol). There is no Wi-Fi in Hugo's bungalows. I recommend purchasing a chip with mobile data to use on the Island.
When we returned to the airport, Hugo took us and also presented us with a necklace with a Moai carved in wood. Hugo always told us: I want you to leave here happy and for nothing to go wrong. Anything, always tell me and I'll solve it! And it was true. Whatever it was, he would sort it out. It was fantastic and, really, his help made the trip perfect!
My sincere thanks to Hugo, a person who became a great friend of ours! And I highly recommend interning at Pacific Bungalows!

Exceptional Value
On my recent visit to Easter Island I stayed at the highly recommended PACIFIC BUNGALOWS and so glad I did. The accommodations exceeded my expectations.
The bungalow is very spacious, all areas well thought out for guest comfort right down to the wall mounted TV. Ample drawer space for clothing and accessories, a fully equipped kitchenette, tables and chairs, very comfortable bedding, and a well equipped bathroom with a fine shower.
The bungalow exterior offers a veranda and is well lighted at night.
Must point out the great benefit of complimentary round trip airport transfers.
There was nothing missing to make this stay so pleasant.

Perfection
Gorgeous little bungalows with kitchenette. Comfy, well appointed and private. Great location, close to airport and major roads, short walk to town, parking. Owners fantastic, so helpful and welcoming, absolutely lovely. Definitely would stay again!
