family atmosphere with beautiful views

very nice reception by the Beistzer couple, who give genre restaurant tips and make the reservations, always a direct hit, spacious room with comfortable bed and nice balcony with sea view, extensive, served breakfast, parking at the house, small beach directly from the house in 5 minutes to reach - an absolute recommendation. Merci!

First visit to Croatia but not the last

This bed and breakfast is a must stay place for anyone visiting the coastline. The owner is extremely welcoming and helpful with restaurant to visit and must see tourist attractions from a locals opinion. The jewel of the experience is the secluded unspoilt coves below the B&B. It's 3 mins from the b&b and is three set of steps away. Although it's set at the top of the hill the premises has breathtaking views of the sea of the Southern Croatian peninsula.
You'll want to return to this B&B due to the location and the warm friendly hospitality plus you'll have made a new friend.

Best Place to Stay in Istria - awsome sea-view and perfect hosts!

We've been staying at villa iris for one week! This Place is simply amazing! We've never met such incredibly pleasant hosts ! The sea-view is absoluty amazing and the breakfast is really high-class! We'll definately come again ! You Guys will Love it!

A hidden paradise in Moscenicka Draga

Villa Iris is located in a quiet and picturesque setting hidden from the main road with an amazing panoramic view of the sea. The view is absolutely stunning, overlooking the island Krk and Cres and you can even see Opatija and Rijeka. I loved to wake up early to watch the sunrise. The balcony terrace is very spacious.
The garden design represents a botanical garden surrounded with beautiful flowers and fruit trees and with many sitting arrangements to relax. You may call it a paradise. There is a table tennis area as well.
The rooms were very clean and a great variety of food for breakfast including yummy homemade jam from their garden.
The owners were very friendly and very knowledgeable about good dining places and great places to visit. The owner booked several dining reservations for us, so we didn't have to worry about the restaurant being all booked out.
You can arrange to get a massage at the villa which my daughter found superb.
You do need to have a car to go out to restaurants or to the beach. Our favorite beach was the Sipar beach (pebble beach) in the scenic coastal town of Moscenicka Draga just 2 km away from the villa. The beach was crowded, but we visited during the high season. There is a small private beach just 5 minutes downhill from the villa. A good cardio exercise.
Free parking and Wi-Fi. No air conditioning, but the most nights we didn't really need it. Book a room with the sea view. Stayed August 2016, there were 6 in our group. Watch out for the crazy drivers.

Familien Urlaub

Die Villa Iris ist sehr gut gelegen, man erreicht die beiden Städte Lovran und Mošćenička Draga mit dem Auto jeweils unter fünf Minuten. Die Villa selbst ist von einem wirklich wunderschönen und liebevoll gepflegten Garten umgeben, der auch reichlich Platz zum Entspannen bietet. Das Zimmer war sauber und verfügt über eine kleine Hausbar, TV und gratis WLAN. Das Frühstück ist einfach der Hammer und wird im kühlen Wintergarten serviert. Von der Villa aus gelangt man zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten an einen schönen kleinen Strand.
Die Besitzer (Slavica und Micha) sind sehr freundlich und überaus hilfsbereit, durch ihre herzliche Art wird ein sehr familiäres Klima geschaffen, das den Wohlfühlfaktor sehr fördert. Außerdem werden einem durch die angebotenen Serviceleistungen der Urlauber sehr erleichtert. Z.B.: Euro in Kuna tauschen direkt vor Ort, Ausflugstipps, Restaurantempfehlungen und auf Wunsch auch telefonische Reservierung seitens der Besitzer.
