Lovely accommodation

Hosts/owners very welcoming and lovely throughout. They live onsite and always there wanting to help and assist in any way possible. You can tell they really care and want their guests to have the best holiday. Accommodation was not exactly what we were expecting in terms of views, but that is not in control of the owners. Unfortunately building work has resulted in a crane distorting the view of the beautiful bay as shown in advertised pictures to the front, and building work for new properties taking place at the back. We spoke to Anne-Marie who manages/owns the property and she has been fighting and complaining about this, she cares so much about her guests. I can’t stress enough how she will make you feel so welcome and checks in on you all the time to see if she can do anything to help you.
We stayed in the top floor apartment, called ‘Biokovo’. Named after the mountain you can see out the back.
The apartment has a bedroom facing the front view, and a bedroom with the back (mountain) view.
The ceilings are quite low in places due to it being the top floor you need to be careful not to bump your head!
Overall, we as a family of 2 couples, (my husband and I and his parents), enjoyed staying at this apartment. The pool area was always so clean and welcoming. Make sure you feed the Tortoises which you’ll find around the pool, so cute!
The walk into town down the steep hills is not for the faint hearted, will take you around 20-25 minutes and the walk back up is hard work! Lots of nice restaurants to eat, enough to eat at a different one each night. Our favourite of the stay was Dinners Delight, we actually went there twice it was so good. We decided early on to get a taxi back up which cost us around 60-70 kunas (£7.50-£8.50 roughly).
Overall the apartment was good, can’t fault the owners, they really look after you. Amazingly clean pool area, great views including amazing sunsets from the balcony. Enjoyed our stay.

Très belle expérience à Makarska

Endroit très agréable. Le logement est très bien équipé et très propre. Une piscine est à disposition avec des transats disponibles. La piscine est un endroit très convivial qui permet de rencontrer les autres locataires et7 d'échanger avec eux. Pour notre part, nous y avons rencontrer des gens très sympathiques.
Anna-Maria, l'hôte des lieux, est disponible et à l'écoute. Nous conseillons cet endroit sans aucune restriction.
Concernant la ville de Makarska, c'est une station balnéaire très animée et vraiment agréable. De nombreux restaurants et bars nous accueillent jusqu'à tard le soir et on y trouve toutes sortes de commerces.
