Highly recommended

Beautiful spotless apartment with sea view consisting of kitchen bathroom and two bedrooms. Very close to several restaurants, the beach where water taxis also leave, the supermarket and the bus stop.
The owner is very kind and very helpful; he brought us figs and peaches directly from his garden. We stayed 6 nights and in the middle of the stay did the change of towels.

Excellent peaceful location to enjoy a self catering holiday near the beach.

We stayed in apartment 1 on ground floor which had large double bedroom, large en-suite bathroom, well equipped kitchen suitable for self catering for 3 people and a living dining room with sofa, table and chairs. Outside there was a metal table and 2 chairs with garden in front and it was lovely watching the sunset over an evening meal.
We booked the holiday thorough booking.com and communication from Paula the carpe diem manager was excellent from the get go. She answered all our questions and helped us prepare for our holiday there. The host Frank made us very welcome and made sure we were happy with everything and throughout the week took time to check if we needed any help or assistance. You would need to look far to find a better host than Frano!
The location was ideal for us and we totally enjoyed the relaxation and soothing sound of the sea even from the apartment! We managed to get buses easily to Cavtat and Dubrovnik. The journey lasts only 15 mins and is a 15 minute walk from the apartment.
The sea was not calm enough for the water taxi to stop at Plat except on one day of the week. October can be like this.
The best restaurant in the area was only 10 min walk and is well known by locals. King Konoba serves wonderful food and the service is excellent. There also a beach cafe and we had coffee and snacks there but they also do meals.
Thoroughly recommend the area to anyone who wishes to enjoy the peace and quiet to escape from the busyness of Dubrovnik.
