I booked this property during off-season and paid over $600CAD, expecting a smooth stay. The communication with Helen beforehand was prompt, and she provided check-in instructions via email, which I appreciated since I don’t use WhatsApp while traveling.
However, the self-check-in system failed on arrival. The keypad on the safe locker didn’t respond after multiple attempts, and with no 24/7 reception and no phone service on my eSIM, I had no way to contact anyone. I was left outside my booked room in a place I didn’t know, which was very stressful.
Eventually the issue was resolved, but the lack of backup support for a paid, unstaffed check-in is a serious problem. For the price point, I expected either working self-check-in or guaranteed staff availability at check-in time.
I’d recommend this place only if you’re confident the locker system works and you have a local phone number. The hotel should add a backup contact and test the lockers regularly.

Comfort, Nature, and My Favorite Annette
What really made the difference for us was the staff – always professional yet incredibly warm and welcoming, all of them.A special mention goes to my personal favorite, Annette, whose kindness and personal touch made us feel completely at home.
Villa Annette is the perfect place for families looking for comfort, relaxation, and genuine hospitality. We can’t wait to come back!

Villa Annette – Where Elegance Meets Genuine Hospitality
The rooms and interior are spotless, stylish, and very comfortable, combining modern design with a cozy atmosphere. The pool area is a true highlight – relaxing, well-maintained, and perfect for enjoying both sunny afternoons and quiet evenings. We especially appreciated the thoughtful extras – the team provided us with excellent recommendations on where to go and what to see in the area, which made our trip even more special. And we cannot forget to mention the hotel’s own olive oil, which is truly exceptional and a must-try!
What stood out the most was the professionalism, friendliness, and warmth of the staff. Every team member went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and it felt more like being part of a family than just guests at a hotel. A special thank you goes to Annette and Helen, whose kindness, attention to detail, and personal touch made our stay unforgettable.
This hotel is a perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and genuine hospitality. We can’t recommend it enough and are already looking forward to coming back.
