Perfect location and very clean

We were there for 3 Days. Adriano is the nicest Person i have seen in a while. He is always helpful and in great mood with a smile. The room was very nice and clean. The location is perfect in Rovinj. Just a few steps to the sea and also near to the beatiful church. I would definitely stay there again on my next visit to the beautiful city of Rovinj.

Disappointment

Magnificent location in the old town of Rovinj, but I do not find other merits since personally I was not thrilled either by the cleanliness or the friendliness of the manager. In addition, the structure, when I made the reservation, was included in the bed and breakfast category but it is misleading because they only give the bed.
Potential is there but at the same price you find better.

Cute and cosy

Casa Casale is a really nice place to stay in Rovinj. The room was cosy, the bed was comfy, the TV worked and had even English channels. Theres a small kitchen equipped with coffee, tea and fruits that are free to use. We called once we arrived in front of the hotel and even though we should have let them know an hour in advance, we could check in within 5 minutes. Really friendly staff, they know a lot about Rovinj and are happy to tell you the best spots and restaurant if you ask.

Great place!

Great cozy place in old town of Rovinj. Perfect location! The room was clean and in good standard. The personnel was very kind, easygoing and service minded. There are plenty of good restaurants just around the corner.

Clean, convenient but posting as a B&B is misleading

We stayed at Casa Casale for 3 nights in Sept 2016. The location is very convenient within the town centre, it's relatively quiet and it's clean. Private bath and small kitchenette. Very steep stairs to unit - approx. 20-30 stairs.
I was disappointed because I assumed being listed as a B&B it would include breakfasts. It does not. Apparently they used to do breakfasts but no longer. When I booked some months earlier, several posts raved about the breakfast. So, I think both Casa Casale and TripAdvisor would do well to remove it from this category.
Another misleading component is to say parking is available. I assumed that meant close and included. Not. The unit is within the central city where no cars are allowed. The closest parking is 0.5 km away and is not free. So, be prepared to haul your luggage .5 km over cobblestone streets and then carry it up 20-30 very steep stairs to your unit and to pay for overnight parking.
When I contested the lack of breakfast and parking the owner contacted Booking.com. A number of emails between me, the owner and Booking.com ensued. I frankly was at a point where I decided to get on with my vacation and chalk the experience up as a disappointment. When I arrived back at my building entrance, the owner was sitting the step waiting for me. He asked what was my problem! I felt harassed.
In the weeks since I returned home, Booking.com reimbursed me $35 Can. While I appreciate this gesture it should be noted that when I booked I assumed the price included breakfast and parking. And to make matters worse, the unit prices are advertised on TripAdvisor during my stay at 50% less than I had paid when I reserved. So, a nice enough room but understand the offering.
