Lovely hotel
We had a lovely and spacious room with sea views!

Brochure can be deceptive
A disappointing choice for a holiday hotel whilst the staff were generally good, housekeeping needed more than a nudge to get things right; not a promising start.
The condition of the hotel fabric (and bare chipboard doors) gave the impression of insufficient funds/ weird design. See photos and you decide.
Food mediocre, drinks expensive, pool tiny.
Major roadworks adjacent to the hotel was both noisy, dusty and inconvenient.
Timetables for both bus and water taxi had not been updated resulting in long waits in extreme heat.

Hotel needs improvement!
On the surface the hotel is elegant, I do mean on the surface! Major improvements are to be considered to deserve a 4-star rating, certainly by Croatian standards. Rooms with balcony and sea view, very good! Good bedding, very pretty bathroom, but no privacy (shower and toilet connecting with sliding glass door) little privacy!
The site is quiet, that is appreciated!
The rooftop with pool and bar, beautiful in photos! Degraded mosaic and small square of water, you cannot swim in it, except for the pretty seagulls, they are cute but defecate everywhere in the water! Few lounge chairs! And no staff at the bar or snack services!
The indoor pool is nice, the steam rooms don't work, the fitness room only has one bike and one elliptical!
Breakfast is very good, the à la carte meals are not very varied, and I find the price-to-quality ratio excessive. 4 euros for a decaf! (On average between 1.5 and 2 in Croatia). Smiling staff but not professional! And the worst part is really the reception upon arrival, one person in particular who was very haughty and disdainful! Who leaves you hanging and speaks very mediocre English! No information, very complicated to ask them for anything (massage reservation, car, schedules...) fortunately, Croatians are not all like that, rather very friendly on excursions, for Ubers and car rentals! In short, if you want to get around, use your own systems; don't count on the non-existent information at the hotel!
We managed just fine outside, though, and really liked the site!

4 star?
Rated as 4 star but was lacking.
Drinks prices were high.
Swimming pools indoor and out were in poor condition, tiles missing.
Reception staff not welcoming.
Restaurant staff were great, friendly and helpful.
Housekeeping was less than 4 star compared to other hotels I've stayed in.
No snack menu during the day, only a la carte from 2pm.
Rooftop bar for non-alcoholic or alcoholic drinks only opened at 4pm.
Amazing views from the balconies.

Room was clean and nice. Airconditioning good, too good, made me ill actually, so be careful.
Breakfast was ok, very gentle restaurant staff. Compared to other 4-star hotels I've visited, the selection of fresh looking fruit was very limited, and I missed proper Greek yoghurt and some other more healthy foods.
Reception staff was very varied when it comes to willingness to help. One of them seemed to want to be very busy with her own stuff behind a screen/the counter, and not really want to interact with us, while a male staff seemed more open and willing. Perhaps just a feeling, but I'm usually good at telling.
