Following the principle of “restoring the old as it was,” the inn has preserved the complete “three-courtyard” layout typical of traditional Chaoshan architecture—green brick walls, grey tiles, stone drum door bases, and carved wooden beams. Every detail authentically reflects the grandeur of a Chaozhou mansion, making it a truly “living museum” you can stay in. The inn features 16 guest rooms, each named after poems by Lin Xichun. While retaining the charm of the historic residence, every room is equipped with a full set of XiaoMi smart system, a large projection screen, and a separate dry-wet bathroom, perfectly blending ancient elegance with modern comfort. Step outside, and you’ll find yourself on Paifang Street, just a few minutes’ walk from iconic landmarks such as Guangji Bridge and Kaiyuan Temple. Location and the beauty of the accommodation is what attracted me to book in the first place. After 5 nights here, hospitality of the staffs touches me. They make sure that guests are well taken care of making us feel at home. Will definitely stay again when I visit Chaoshan

As this booking was for our relatives, they would like to share that they like this hotel so much that they said they would be coming back for another stay. The hotel location is near the tourist street , so it is located in a very good location. The 2 bedroom 1 living room duplex is our favourite room as it allows the family to gather in the living room to chat.

Lovely new boutique hotel in a great location. We booked the room with a courtyard which was more expensive but worth every penny. The hotel is located in a little alley only accessible by foot or bike. They were great in sending us instructions via WeChat on how to get there and also helped us arrange a private car hire from the high speed rail station. It was an easy 5 minute walk from the main road with our luggage. The little alleyways are full of character. The hotel also sent us tons of info on local food and attractions close to the hotel as well.
The room itself was beautiful, with everything you’ll need and we especially loved the courtyard. We enjoyed the little box of local snacks and the local tea offered in the room. No coffee though, so make sure you bring your own instant coffee packets.
The location is great - we walked everywhere. It’s just mere minutes to Pai Fang Street and also walkable to attractions like Kai Yuan Temple, Guang Ji Bridge and Tower Gate. Lots of food options in the area - from local snacks to little eateries and full service restaurants.
We’ll be back if we ever come back to Chaozhou.

Hotel is located near to old street and very convenient. Hotel staffs is very helpful and friendly. They even help to collect our parcel.
Overall is very fantastic stay.

Inn located in the ancient town. New and clean accommodation for a comfortable stay. Air conditioning is powerful and room amenities are provided. Location is accessible to most parts of Chaozhou by Didi.
Staff is super helpful and readily makes recommendations for local eating places and authentic Teochew snacks.
Highly recommend this inn for a stay as the ambience is a unique experience, unlike a typical hotel.
