Crowne Plaza Ordos (鄂尔多斯皇冠假日酒店) is officially rated as a 5‑star hotel in Ordos, Inner Mongolia. We stayed here for a night and I found the surrounding very serene and calm. I also like their diversified and healthy breakfast in particular the yogurt, the Chinese yam (山药), pumpkin, the black fungus, oats, soya bean drink, siew mai and scrambled egg.
My wife ordered a cup of cuppiccuno from the counter, had a banana, buns and corns. We have been overeating since we came to Inner Mongolia and I tried to cut down the quantity. I went for a stroll around the compound which I noticed it was fenced out along the perimeter. Nevertheless, I found it relaxng and the atmosphere is calm and serene.

Swimming pool was closed (not informed beforehand). Half the equipment in the gym did not work (3 treadmills all out of order). The Chinese restaurant on site was closed every day during our stay (Thurs-Sat). The all-day coffee shop was barely staffed. The bar was never open. The air conditioning did not work. This hotel promises a lot but delivered a very poor experience.

Hotel staff is very courteous and helpful. Food is good with choice for vegetarians.

awesome!

room is spacious, bed and beddings were the best! so comfy. clean.
breakfast is good, has a variety of international and local fare
bought strawberries at the lobby, cheap, and they were the sweetest
I love the nature and beautiful architecture
and there is a mini farm too - so nice

First the room not so clean

The window breaks and the use adhesive
Wi-fi so hard to contact with you phone or laptop
The furniture broken 😅😅😅
