Canton fair

By far is this a 3star. Not one to write negative reviews...but seriously avoid this place.
I booked for 4 nights, ended up leaving first thing in the morning.
I've asked booking to raise me a refund...let's see.
Also it includes breakfast right ? It's a voucher for a egg burger from Mcd next door and then you have buy a hot drink on top :(
Lesson learnt, pay the extra and got for 4*+

Below average and barely acceptable

Visiting the Chinaplas Exhibition, we stayed in this hotel. We travel to China often and this one I was glad to leave.
The carpets are dirty and the continuous sewer smell from the bathroom just about unbearable.
It was at least close to the train station and 2 stops from the exhibition Centre which made it at least convenient.
There is a McDonalds and KFC close by.
Next time we are going to rent an apartment.

Good destination, thats it...

I was visiting the Canton Fair and the destination for that was perfect. I paid for 3 night through A_moma_.com including breakfast, but they did not give us breakfast.. that was very irritating, because there are only fast food restaurant around the hotel. Also the pictures that A_mom_a._com provides were totally different from real rooms, so don't use that website. The windows did not have sealing so you could hear the cars driving outside. And the biggest surprise was when receptionist called me at 1am and said that I have to pay for additional night, even though my check-out was in 2 days after that.. who does that?!?!? They cleaned the room daily and thats okay, but the room has carper material the whole room and if you looked behind the furniture there was dust all over. I did not had courage to check the airventile or AC...

Less than average

I went there to go to the Canton Fair. It has bus to the fair that was pretty good (to go and come back) and very near the metro station.There was an english speaking person almost all day. They gave breakfast ticket (they dont have restaurant) but only at the fair days. A ticket to choose between mac donalds, ketucky or 72 a chinese fast food place. For me it was pretty tough because im a vegetarian so i didnt have many options.
The room was big with a great view to the street and canton tower but has bad smell. The cleaning service was not very good. They dont have a lot of services like taxi (they called them directly from the street). Very basic i think for what i pay i could get something better.
it has good internet.

Dirty!!!!!

The room is very dirty! When we first got in the room, the window was opened and there was a fly flying around the room.
Later that tonight, we saw a cockroach a walking on the table beside the bed!!!
I am sure there were bed bugs because we got a few bites and they were not mosquito bites!!!
This hotel didn't allow any late check-out and I don't think the hotel was even full.
Reception was quite nice because we booked a single bed room and she offered us to check the size of the room first before checking us in for the single bed room as she has a room with two beds and the room size was bigger. I thought it was quite nice of her to offer us to look at the room first before we agreed to take that room. The room with single bed was really quite small so we choose the room with two beds.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel because it's really dirty. The carpet feels dirty too.
