A good cost-effective solution for staying in Hong Kong

Even though we booked shortly before, we found a good offer to spend 3 nights in this hotel. We arrived by red taxi directly from the airport (cost 280 Hong Kong dollars). Even though we had 4 suitcases, no one came to meet us and we had to open the glass door by pushing it and placing a suitcase to keep it open. Since it was 11 am (the rooms are available from 2 pm), after checking in, we were offered to leave our suitcases and we went around the city. The room was small and aged, but clean, complete and functional and with a view of the park below and a small part of Victoria Harbour (the rooms have different prices based on the view from the window and we had purchased the type we get). The bathroom was small but functional. Breakfast, included in the price of the room, starts at 7am and it is a buffet but more suitable for Chinese customers than Western ones. However, there was a good choice even if, having done it one day after 9 (it is open until 10) the choice was very limited and various types (fruit, croissants, desserts) were no more available and not refilled. The location is very good both for its proximity to the metro station and for walking to Victoria Harbour in about fifteen minutes. Having a late flight, we took advantage of the possibility offered by the hotel to store our baggage even on the day of departure. Considering the location and the cost of the room, this hotel offers a convenient and valid solution for visiting Hong Kong.

Room is very small, you can barely move around comfortably. The hotel is well located, close to subways, and their laundry is a plus,

The BP international is not a 4 star hotel. It did the job for the stay and length of time that we were there, but the room was incredibly basic to the extent there was only one singular bedside table. The hotel does not offer complimentary water in the rooms which is fine, if they want to be sustainable but they need to offer an alternative like oither 4 star establishments. Water machines in the hall etc.
The decor is insanely outdated. It is in need of a serious makeover. Even checking in you can see that this is an old hotel as everything is manual with the check in staff filing paperwork in a filing cabinet and no chance of a seamless and easy check in. The shower was tiny and the entire room was smaller than expected. It had minimal mirrors and overall I would have rated this as a 3 star hotel and not a 4.

very convenient location. a taxi stand, always has taxis, right in front og the entrance. many local food small restaurants, supermarkets, and laundry shops around. right next to Kowloon Park, just 10mins walk to Tsim Sha Tsui (can walk thru the park). Very satisfied. My hotel, stayed for a week, room was clean and quiet. Staff service was friendly and helpful.
