A lovely little find for a great short break

Stayed here for 4 nights with my wife and 3-year-old son during the April public holiday in China.
The hotel was in a great location with local attractions easily accessible but well removed from the weekend bustle of the small town and tourist areas.
The hotel itself is very clean and well-appointed. The grounds are fantastic with access to the river which my son loved. The rooms are spacious and clean. We had a family room on the corner with a great view of the garden and the river.
The food in the hotel is very good and great value. Breakfast caters more to Chinese guests but we have been living in China for a while and this was not a problem. The staff did go out of their way to make sure we had fresh coffee etc as well.
Would definitely stay here again if we ever go back to Yangshuo.

Quality Local Hotel beats Brand ones

Magnificent room view and lots of green areas within hotel. 40 rooms only with full bookings during weekends. Nice and attentive service provided. Couples or Family with kids recommended. Near the tourist site Yulong River. Hotel offers pickup from Yangshou High Speed Railway station with reasonable price and quality van and very nice driver. It is a Must-stay local hotel.

Friendly staff and good location

It's a long delayed review, we stayed here in Dec 2016 and the hotel was newly opened. We booked the family room, comes in 1 king bed and 1 queen bed (no balcony). Spacious room with views of the mountains and the village. Because it was newly opened, everything was new and clean. Surrounding is peaceful and it's a good retreat from the city life. Night is pitch dark but you could see the stars! Breakfast is nice too, especially their home brewed soy milk and Guilin noodles, got to be early to drink it else it's all gone. If you're late for breakfast, you can ask the kitchen staff to cook for you the Guilin noodles
The hotel staff arranged transport/driver for our day trip and during the low season, it cost 350rmb for 9hrs. Booking the Liu San Jie show through them was easy too, the manager even drove us to the site as we were running late for the show. Bicycles can be rented from the villager next door for 10rmb and electrical scooter 50rmb from hotel for whole day usage. We had a wonderful time cycling far out, to moon crescent, strawberry farm, mud spa hill and others.

I traveled the village and the river. It has a nice scene. Stuffs are very cooperative. The pool was just in front of my room. I was amazed. The ball room is large. While the complementary breakfast was given I asked the boy for laundry. I got the service. Thanks.

Not up to Western standards

Alrhough room was very clean and spacious (family room) we did not get the room with pool view we had booked. Reply at reception was that we could see the pool from the lobby... Hotel is focussed on Chinese tourists. Western breakfast very poor. Orange juice was out for four days, toast with only Chinese horrible jam. Really poor. Swimming pool so hectic and not very clean. Besides for the kind service from Sophie, who is very kind, not recommended. Book Li River Resort instead!
