The blue Paradise
The place is beautiful—it's like being in a little slice of paradise. The facilities are very nice and clean, and the lagoon-style pools surrounded by lush greenery make for a very pleasant stay. The staff is super attentive, and the cleanliness of both the rooms and the resort in general is top-notch. Our breakfast was included in the rate we paid, and to be honest, all the à la carte dishes were exquisite and beautifully prepared. Overall, highly recommended if you visit Curaçao. The hotel is very central to the capital and located right on Mambo Beach, a vibrant beach with tons to do. Thank you, Kontiki. Thank you, Curaçao.

Very nice place
Very nice location in a perfect position, rooms spacius and clean, beach and sea amazing, Lot of life in the evening. Very good experience. Strongly reccomended

Amazing Stay at Kontiki Beach Resort!
I absolutely loved my stay at Kontiki Beach Resort for my birthday! The resort is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the overall experience was one of the highlights of my trip to Curaçao.
A special shoutout to Jonathan, who truly went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay. He was friendly, attentive, and always made us feel welcome. And I can’t forget his sidekick either! They made a great team and definitely added some extra fun to our experience.
Great service can really make a vacation memorable, and Jonathan did exactly that. I would absolutely recommend Kontiki Beach Resort and would happily stay here again on my next trip to Curaçao!

Hotel not really up to par, not a luxury hotel.
We stayed 10 days at the hotel for our honeymoon. Upon arriving I was entitled to a nice little welcome note, which was addressed only to me, but no allusion to the honeymoon, to the two of us, nor any decoration (not even simple linens folded in the shape of a heart or swans or flowers...) nothing to make us dream and think that we were on our honeymoon.
Only one bathrobe put in the room...yet there were two of us.
The room was in average condition (cracked sink, little bugs in the shower, stained linens, etc...). The hotel is magnificent and the saltwater pools very pleasant, but it is not a luxury hotel, as one might expect. We are used to traveling. Its setting, in the middle of the trees, with little overlooking, the location is great, facing the beach and close to Mambo Boulevard. However, the staff, unprofessional, arrogant and slow, without having a minimum of hotel service codes, so even less luxury codes.
Upon our arrival, an employee takes our suitcases from the reception
to the stairs which were 400m away and leaves, but we were on the 1st floor and we were the ones who had to carry the suitcases up to our room!
Then this first evening, we are informed, after the meal, and after the waitress dropped a beer on the table without replacing it for us, but which we paid for, that cash is not accepted, payment by card only. We had told her to put the bill on the room (we had just arrived, tired, after a 14-hour flight, the card left in the room, a real labyrinth to find our way around, etc....), impossible according to her manager. She therefore came with us to our room for the payment of the meal and her device did not accept our card, we had to use another one. Yet this same card was used throughout the duration of our stay, without any problem. These are not standard hotel practices...and even less so luxury ones because not being able to put a bill on a room and not trusting to the point of coming with the guests to the room, I have never seen that anywhere!
The next day, we arrive to have breakfast, two employees ask us twice for our room number while indicating to us that breakfast is not included (which was false, we had booked our stay with breakfast included), we had to prove it with our booking email for them to believe us and lost 30 min debating before that. Even if breakfast was not included, we were still going to eat and pay, it is not very professional not to offer something to drink at least while this verification is being done and far from being ways to receive guests.
Overall, it was not what we are used to in terms of a hotel complex because we are frequent travelers, however a good experience all the same once we changed our mindset!
A magnificent island, a magnificent sea, magnificent animals, the capital very beautiful too. Too bad for us, the bridge was under maintenance, we had to take the boat to cross.
Unfortunately, we cannot say the same for the residents and the staff in general, whether at the hotel or outside. It seems like they are not used to tourism.
