Extraordinary good service

I had booked a cabin through Booking.com and was sure it was a cabin with refrigerator and small kitchen. When we arrived and saw the little cabin with only beds and table, I turned to the reception. The host knew that booking through Booking.com was misleading. He offered us - absolutely without extra costs that we could get a lovely Hotel Suite with all amenities. It was a service beyond the usual. So nice.

Stay away.

The pool was closed, although it was promised to be open. Could not get the money back, even though we checked out a whole 24 hours earlier, and we were almost the only ones on the venue. The playground is very worn. All cars lacked wheels, for example, and the swing is falling.
In addition, it was difficult to get in touch with an employee.
Would definitely not recommend the place. Especially if you have kids.

Quality decline

The quality of the toilet and shower facilities does not match the price.
1090 DKK for 2 nights in a mobile car.
The garbage is also overcrowded for the second day in a row.
Being here in 2023 , then it was possible to taste a drink of local produced gin, now only possible to buy bottlewise.

We stayed 2 nights in a very nice cabin with toilet and bath. Completely new and clean and fine. No noise at night and a fantastic swimming pool. We'll be back.

We will avoid this campsite in the future.

We had booked one night for a pitch through the booking portal of the campsite "City Cam Hjorring". The system has booked this pitch 2x and invoiced us. We approached the operator again on the day of departure and he assured us to book back the overpaid amount (270 DKK). Unfortunately, this has not been done despite multiple requests by email. The operator has not even felt it was right to respond to the mails. Too bad, we will not visit this place anymore. The Hjorring City Council was informed of the facts.
