The family-owned Hotel E4 is 10 minutes’ drive from Lalandia Water Park and Rødby Ferry Terminal. All rooms have a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. Guests can work out in the small gym. Table tennis, billiards and table football are also available. Children can enjoy the playroom or playground. Seafood starters, classic roast dishes and seasonal vegetables are offered at the in-house restaurant. Free parking is available at E4 Hotel. Knuthenborg Safari Park and the Sakskøbing Fjord are 15 km away. Boats depart regularly from nearby Rødby to Puttgarden, Germany. If you expect to arrive after 23:00, please inform Hotel E4 in advance. Please note that the restaurant is closed on public holidays and Sundays. Holes in floor, covered with carpet so it won't show. Or they are practising for carpet flying.

A Motel near the motorway
Very close to Rødby , the small local town and 8mins by car from the ferry.

Avoid it
If you get 5 times delayed by a ferry queue, you might have to. Be prepared for a terrible stay!

HUGE SPIDERS in the room
The dozens of small spiders and hundreds of tiny, biting gnats I gave up on.
The sticky places on the floor I chose to call "detergent residue" for my own peace of mind.
Toilet was filthy, glad I didn't have to sit on it.
Be adviced that the ramp from the motorway is closed until December 2014 (proprietor told me) so if you arrive by the ferry there's a approx. 20 km detour to get there.
I seriously considered packing up and driving into the night, but I tried to sleep instead. In retrospect I should have just left.
Breakfast buffet opens early (good for me, since I didn't sleep much because of the heat and biting bugs) and the breakfast is excellent.
